26 second mark I remember thinking that Ollie up kickflip to fake was a walk in the park. Summer After high school I went to nyc and came, across that spot. It took me a lot of tries to do manage an Ollie on it with barely any pop. Puleo is crazy nice with it, for the simple fact that he is so graceful looking doing simple tricks at intersting spots that dont necessarily look hard to skate. Most of these spots are actually incredibly challenging to get a trick on.
Love the graffiti clips in-between the skating. He spoke about how he'll choose a spot because a certain writer he rates has put up there. This is where all the vx1000 graff shit stated.
oh shit 2:52 was right behind my apartment in ghetto ass prospect heights bk , near ebbets field projects where jeru tha damaja and crooklyn dodgers came out of. I used to imagine myself doing that exact same trick over that same spot. that ghetto ass supermarket aint there no more. wow brings back memories yo , i saw a homicide in the public park across the streets , in the basketball court, real shit. my moms was involved in a shootout in a laundromat on franklin and sullivan down the block. now its gentrified and a lot more white , but back then it was protect ya neck kid word
I wish California had these spots.I'm sick of tired all the posers around me trying to do nollie three shuvs off three stair gaps when they could barely ollie it -_-
Damn ... quick, creative, and clean ... that's all I can say. Definitely a street ripper, and one who's underrated, at that.
