The first Charizard list should have an Artazon instead of the Forest Seal Stone. Thank you to those who pointed it out!
Yes! This is what I’ve been waiting for. Your pulse on what people want is spot on
Glad I didn't disappoint! :)
Have you tried the Arven based build that Joe from Omnipoke built? Curious on your thoughts about that and if that changes what tier you'd consider the deck to be in @@CiaranTCG
Great update, thank you.
I’d love to see a full breakdown of the giratina vstar list!! Think it’s a really strong deck going into next format and it’s getting a lot of online results at the moment :)
Can definitely make a video about Tina!
@@CiaranTCG ive been searching all youtube for an up-to-date tina list... and maybe a deep look into japanese lists?? Im considering adding snorlax for roaring moon
i second this!@@CiaranTCG
They say mimicry is the highest form of flattery 😅
Good to hear your insights and lists
Glad you enjoyed the insight! Honestly didn't realize you made a similar video, but you can take it as a complement haha
lol what a cringe loser to comment this
babe wake up a new ciaran farah tcg video just came out! Another great video thanks for the insight and lists helping us all out in this wild west of a meta!
Thanks fam
thanks for waking me up babe. Needed this in my life
I just found your channel and i couldn't be happier!! i've gotten into the game in the end of last format after moving away from competing in yugioh tournaments. Having your thoughts on the new format and how what i just learned changes has really helped me get my bearings. Hopefully i can play you in person some day. Cheers!
Glad you are enjoying! If you ever see me at a tournament please feel free to come introduce yourself!
Excellent Content!
Thank you Leonardo! :)
Great video!
Thanks John!
nice run at laic!!!
Thank you 😊
I have been playing lugia for a while now, happy to see it's still around
Definitely still solid, just need to be careful of Iron Hands!
Thanks for making me a better player 💜
Thanks for watching :)
Nice vid! , What are your thoughts in the Garde JP list that explore No zacian but x3 Scream tail + Ancient capsule ?
It sounds interesting, but kind of just reminds me of drifloon and bravery charm. I don't really see what options it is opening. Sniping Vs on the bench is nice, but you already have shining arcana gardy to take big knockouts on anything in the active.
Great vid 💪🏼 I saw in an Azul vid 3-2 Bib & only 2 cpao. How do you feel about that? Seems risky if a Cpao is prized.
I don't hate it. Getting Bibarel is super important, but I think having access to 3 Cpao is equally as important. You also want to start Cpao going first.
I played Hands in Chien-Pao last week at my locals. Notable games were against Zard, LZB and Colorless Lugia, the only one where I made the choice to bench Hands was against LZ, and even then I went for the cologne shuriken play instead, so I kinda lean on it as a tech against the matchup, but idk if it's required in the deck at all, the deck already has so much gas as it is and if you prize the lightning energy it just feels bad
I think it's just nice to have as an option. I also prefer just playing straight pao, but I think Iron hands is too good Vs Roaring Moon, Lugia, & Miraidon. The option to take 3 prizes off lumineon/squawk feels super good
Is the 70 hp frigibax needed? also is 2-2 bib needed? I feel like against tina they have to kill hands instead of bib late game. Great vid! :)
If you aren't expecting much Lost Zone I think converting to another 60 hp frig is fine. Now that we play hands we do have 2 bad starters.
Just realized I forgot to answer the bib part of your question. It is definitely needed. Bib is the engine that makes this deck run. Any game you set up 2-2 bib feels unloseable
Do you think it would be a good idea to add Paradox Rift Groudon to Giratina VSTAR? and if so what would you replace?
I don't think you need it. You'd have to clunk the deck with fighting and you already have Giratina Vstar to knock out Iron Hands
@@CiaranTCG Thanks!
Nice content, just in time for LAIC
How we feeling about Arven Gardevoir? Im running a variant of it with evo tm, scream tail & luxurious cape for big late game knockout
I think arven gardevoir could be interesting. I haven't explored it so all this is just theory from me, but I like how it is a soft mirage step on your first turn. If you go first I do think I'd still prefer to mirage step, but having evolution as a backup seems cool. I do think you have to change the whole engine, and Im not sure if the power level gained is enough to stray from a more traditional build. Im also not sure if you need cape and scream tail when arcana gardevoir can already do big damage late, and if you don't win on your turn scream tail is going to give up two prizes
Still trying to get my Alakazam ex deck to work. But I'm getting closer.
I think TM Evolution is a game changer for that deck! Klefki gets even stronger with the current meta imo with more of these big basic decks
@@CiaranTCG exactly. Keep up the good work boss.
the charizard build has no target for the forest seal stone i think there is a error in the graphic and there charmder appears twice
Good catch. It should be an Artazon
forest seal stone in the first zard deck?
My mistake, should be an Artazon
Wha... where regidrago?
Been playing Zoroark lately and having a ton of fun! Will try these changes.
But I'm losing my mind a bit trying to figure out how to find that Lanturn! It looks like it was in the Japanese sv3a Raging Surf, but not the English PAR Paradox Rift. Are we getting that card ever?
I didn't realize it isn't out in english yet. You can substitute it for Raichu
no torterra?
Should've included it haha. My thoughts with paradox rift is that it gains counter catcher which is actually pretty relevant since my original list only played 1 boss and a lot of turns you want to raihan. I think Iron hands is really bad for the deck though, if they ever do that to you turn 2 you are on a massive clock
It’s never ever been Canadian chein pao y’all took zapdos tcg list he posted a while back classic Pokémon lol
I was never aware of ZapdosTCG posting a similar list? I just did a scan through his channel and don't see anything resembling the current Cpao iteration. His turbo list includes Arceus which makes the deck very different
@@CiaranTCG that’s understandable that happens but I certainly know he did on twitter without arceus cause it’s the list I was using in my testing then noticed it to be the same 60 or basically the same I don’t actually care just thought it was funny cause everyone used to get so upset over that a while back
@@chrissiakala3505 No worries, I think cutting the Vstars is what made Cpao "Canadian Pao". I know a lot of people were on the Pokestop turbo train, but fully committing to the 2-2 Bib makes the deck unique even if it is just. a few cards different.
