  • Growing mangoes in pots is one of the most interesting things that I've ever done in my life. some people have questioned whether or not a tree can be in full production being in pots. that question is still up in the air but you can definitely get a few fruit and sometimes more than a few enough for you and your family but it can be done. and these are the varieties that I have started growing in pots. #fruit #mango #organic #gardening #orlando

That graft on the peach cobbler looks excellent! I love to see the different mango varieties, I'm in Oklahoma so we only see the red and green Tommy-Atkins variety and the small yellow Ataulfo mangoes in the grocery store. I would love to grow my own in a greenhouse but that would be a massive undertaking😅

That’s what I call; “mango love!”
I always wondered if there’s anyone else out there who enjoys mangoes as much as I do… and you are right there with me. But I might have you beat because some of those smaller mangoes would not mature on my trees because I enjoy eating green mangoes with sea salt. As a kid, during mango season, I would walk around with sea salt in my pocket. When I came across a mango tree with mangoes the size of chicken eggs, I would take a bite, take the bite size piece and dip it in the salt on the palm of my hand. My mouth is watering while thinking about it.

Have you grown nam dok mai in pots. If so how did they do. Where I'm at in Texas.I'm kind of limited on what's available. I do have ice cream and sweet-tart, but you know how it is. You want more?

Hello, when I purchase this variety I put it straight into the ground. I found out it was a variety that I didn't like once it was completely ripe. I did like it when it was semi-ripe with that being said, I end up getting rid of the tree. Good tree, great production. I just didn't like the flavor once the fruit are ripe
