  • When launched in 1999, the first generation Hayabusa shocked the motorcycle world by delivering a whole new level of speed, power and overall performance. It instantly gained the title of the world’s fastest production motorcycle and gave birth to the Ultimate Sport category. Even though the industry’s adoption of a self-imposed speed limit soon put an end to the era of top-speed wars, the Hayabusa’s outstanding performance across all metrics, combined with its nimble handling and eye catching appearance, kept it in the category’s number one position for the past two decades.
The original Hayabusa was much more than the sum of its parts. The abundant power offered a wider range of gear selection options for any given speed, and this ultimately delivered a more controllable and pleasurable ride. Aerodynamic styling that instilled the Hayabusa with one of the lowest drag coefficients achieved on a production motorcycle not only contributed to controllability, stability and rider comfort, its striking unique bodywork and styling design contributed in achieving the Hayabusa’s iconic presence.
The 2nd Generation launched in 2008 retained all the hallmark features of the original Hayabusa, whilst increasing engine displacement to 1340cc and introducing several new features that included a bold new body design. Further enhancement of performance in 2013 saw upgraded front brakes and introduced an Anti-locking Brake System (ABS).
Suzuki’s team of engineers and designers have been working tirelessly since to refine countless aspects of the bike’s performance to create an entirely new generation that is poised carry a new generation of Hayabusa riders into the future.
The third generation Hayabusa leverages the latest technological innovations to provide greater control and comfort, and ultimately to assist riders in gaining confidence as they enjoy outings on the ‘Ultimate Sport Bike’.

Loved the look of this bike. Very good looking Hayabusa and the technologies as well. I went straight to the Suzuki Dealer and bought one.
The engine is very smooth and powerful. The stock exhausts sounds groovy. Well done and thank-you Suzuki.
Hopefully in future, tire check display, near/rear vehicle sensing, auto gears for city riding will be added in the system.

When will we get ESA, USB outlet / Power Socket and Connectivity?
If my Tuono and speed triple 1200 has it, and they are not really 'highway' bike.
I wish my '22 busa had it since it's a GREAT cross country tourer.

Nothing beats the original. Too much Nannies and aids for inexperienced riders. Go learn on a Gen 1 or pre 2008 ZX14. People need to know how to ride without ABS, T/C and power modes.
Soon the next generation will not ride a motorcycle period. If it takes gasoline ⛽️ and needs to shift with the left foot and clutch left hand….it’s going to go the way of the manual transmission. In 3 generations the “motorcycle” that we know of today, will be replaced with electric single seat drones guided by GPS and similar to the Tesla Car, but made for 1+1 passenger.
The “next flying vehicle” will be limited to 200 feet and under. Why ride when you can fly, quietly and electronically with no drive/self -control….we ARE living in the gasoline engine’s “twilight years”…enjoy it NOW before it’s GONE…..

I have the Gen 3 but the hill hold expires after 30s. I don’t know why, since most lights last longer than 30s. The manual says that it can be extended but it never works for me. My Rocket 3 had hill hold that lasted indefinitely which was much more useful if you get stuck waiting for a light on a hill. FJB 🖕🇨🇳
