    Very nice! I probably would’ve used buttons for the flowers with a french knot to hold them in place ❤

      Thanks so much - that’s the beauty of slow stitching, there are no rules and so easy to change things and put your own stamp on 😊💛🌼

    Hi from New Zealand. Loved watching this and to see there really is a right or wrong way. Thought the idea was to cover base fabric completely. But this showed me that's not the case. It's how you like it to be.

      I am doing a card and was wondering, when you use floss do you use two stands or one? tks

    • @DottyBeeVintage
      @DottyBeeVintage  Před 6 měsíci

      @@pounsplace1302 I usually use 2 strands, but if you’re wanting it to look finer, then I’d use 1 or if you want it looking bolder, then you could use more -hope this helps and good luck with your card 🌼

    • @pounsplace1302
      @pounsplace1302 Před 6 měsíci

      thank you I went 2 strands out of habit but glad to know that one strand would suffice. I am totally happy with the result and plan on doing more slow stitching...its so rewarding when done. vivian. @@DottyBeeVintage

    This was fun to watch! I use red thread to SEE my stitches! I enjoy seeing the pattern of stitches where most seem to want to hide them. I guess it depends on what we're stitching and personal preferences. Newly subbed to you! So, yay! Can't wait to see more videos when time permits! ThanksFS!

      Thanks Gina, I haven’t got a needlebook tutorial at the moment, but have an idea for one - not sure if you’re over on Facebook, but if you join the group ‘Dotty Bee’s slow stitching’ there’s a vote going on at the moment for needlebook or bunting 🌸
