Yay for bank holidays (I’m always fascinated they are called that in the UK as it’s not a term used in Australia) and I can’t quite believe that Christmas will be upon us before we know it! Your cow parsley looks so fantastic! Lovely to listen and watch you while stitching down the lace tablecloth to the top of my Treasure Hunt Heirloom Quilt. I thought your foxgloves were fantastic (and they are) but I love your cow parsley even more. It was a brilliant move to switch up the stitches on your stalks and to use one thread. I did cow parsley a while back and wasn’t happy with it. It just looked too heavy. Yours has an air of lightness. I must try them again some time.

Your summer page is going to look super. Can’t wait to see what it turns out like….i haven’t decided yet on mine but I am going to put a poppy in mine, my mother did love those. 😊 I think the weave stitching is perfect for your foxglove, I have some growing at the moment but they are still growing.

Ohh basket stitch I’ve not done that since I left junior school age 11 . Sally looks like you’re going to another fab page . Hello, Sally! Your new nail polish is showing off your tan wonderfully. I love wildflowers. The council here sewed them in the central reservations and roundabouts a few years ago and they are so pretty. Like you, I like foxgloves and cow parsley but my favourites are poppies. However, the red ones always make me a bit sad because of their association with Remembrance Day. This page is going to look marvellous. What book are you looking at?

Looks great! I struggle with starting several stitches also! It looks so easy when I see others do them! Once I remember how to start I’m fine .🥴

We call it Blanket stitch, I’ve not heard of button hole stitch..

Maybe put a trim across the top to draw your eyes to the tulip or fill in the top of the tulip 🌷 with a lighter colour around the edge maybe. When you’re placing things around the tulip it’s calming the page down.. loving your design 😊
