Oh, how exciting………….. Bring on September. Love that Crinoline Lady print, be lovely to embroidery…. Your vintage haul is so cheap and all those doily transfer ones are cute. Love the bird vintage fabric. Great idea with those knitting needles, I’ll keep that in mind. I’d keep the cane basket…. Love the quilt…😊😊😊❤

I was just smiling as you were telling us about your lovely Treasures the little metal ball I wonder if that was from an estate sale or as you said the maker would be fun to find out also the crinoline lady perhaps you could put a piece of fine lace over her face LOL so enjoying your unveiling of everything I am an avid pursuer of sewing add embroidering things God bless you and thank you for sharing

Hi Sally, Love the quilt you found. With the burnt hole, I'd patch over it and make it a feature, that's what the philosophy of slow stitching is....'make do and mend'. It would be a shame to cut it.
Such a fabulous haul! Have fun!

I’m torn, Edith, on mending or cutting, it’s in pride of place at the moment folded over a chair back and I’m just enjoying all those beautiful fabrics 🌸

LOVE the crinoline lady print on the old linen. Gorgeous!! My fingers were itching to touch it! And, what a great idea for the knitting needles!! I see them all the time and never thought to use them for hangers! Thanks for sharing ❤

Wow, that’s a massive haul with some treasures in it! I’ve never found any old linens in the charity shops near me. ☹️ The box with the paper/ribbon trims is for journaling/card making.
