- Hello! Hope you're enjoying your day so far! In this vlog, I spent the day doing patchwork and hand stitch sewing, making a storage case for my craft needles! I used materials I already have at home and everything was made by hand. I also did some gardening, planting flower seedlings I started few months ago. Hello Kiko, thank you for another lovely video. The garden is coming along well and will look lovely once the flowers start to bloom. The weather with me is very cold for the time of year. Currently waiting for Summer to appear. I have noticed that Japan still seems to have defined seasons. I am finding that seasons for me are not as defined as they were some years ago. I do miss the seasons I must say.
The needle keeper was very pretty and lovely that it matches your pin cushion. I too enjoy Tulip needles and have some different ones for my various sewing crafts.
You have a lovely collection of your hand made items on show. I love to look at the various bags etc for my crafting area and it just makes me smile. I am sure you find the same with your lovely creations.

@@kikosabi Good morning Kiko. Yes, the garden is a little out of sorts at the moment. Especially the flowers which seemed to have bloomed early for some and others just confused by the colder and wetter weather.
I actually have a small craft area. Using a dining table as my craft table. I do a number of crafts. Though limit myself to a box for each craft and I also limit my purchases. Lucky for me I don't enjoy having a lot of craft accessories just gathering dust. So am quite choosy with my buys. Wishing you an enjoyable time until your next video and I hope your garden settles down in some lovely warmer weather. With best wishes :)
Crushed egg shells work wonders on all plants. I learned from my Mama to even use them in house and outside plants! Pretty, robust stitching panel turned book needle book. The quality is beyond; your stitches are so perfect, I would guess the book was machine stitched : )) . Relaxing to watch! TFS!

I use cotton fabrics for quilting, some are Japanese fabrics. It's not easy to find fabrics with small scale prints. I've been collecting fabrics for many years 😅

What is the bone meal for? Peonies, Irises! The tobacco yellow my fave. Can you make music less intrusively loud? More background not overtaking it is not needed. I prefer ambiance not drowning in it much as I do like it. Natural sound you create way better! 💚🍃💚💋🇨🇦💁🏻♀️

Bone meal is used to give nutrients to plants for healthier root growth, etc. Unfortunately I live in a loud area with lots of landscaping noises- constant lawn mowing, tree trimming & cutting, loud noises from my neighbour's air conditioning unit that's close to my garden, cars, airplanes, etc. I want to capture the natural sound of my garden...sounds of bees buzzing and birds chirping but its not possible without all that drowning it. I can hear the noises inside my home as well sometimes so that's why I include background music or else it will be quite unpleasant for the viewers to hear all that background noise 😅 Maybe in the future I can move to a quieter area and have better natural background sounds. 😊
