It's a good idea to take the old one down B&Q (whilst leaving someone at home) and try and buy a new one which is as near the same shape as the old one and the same size i.e. 60mm backset or 40mm backset on narrow stile doors.
Thank You
Thank you sooooo much 😊
You're welcome 😊
I got no hacksaw. Anything else i can use to cut that metal part? Can i just use two pliers and bend tilnthey break apart?
Hi there, that's not something we would recommend doing. However, you can try at your own discretion 😊
Thanks
You sexy beast, exactly what I needed to hear. Off to buy a hacksaw
That's what we're here for 😁
Thank you🖒.
What do I need to do if I already have the lock in place but the front key part is loose and coming out a bit. I'm not sure how to tighten it back up?
Hi, if it's an old lock, the key cylinder might need replaced. If it's new, I would suggest speaking to Yale's customer services for further advice. Sorry we couldn't be more helpful!
@@bandq Hi thank you for your reply. I managed to sort it! The two little screws inside needed to be tightened which I managed to do. All good now. 😊
Brilliant! Glad you got it sorted 😄
