I went to Tokyo in 2017 and bought the Lillie box at the Pokemon Center, cant believe how high the price is now! Also got the poncho Pikachu/Mega Zard card for cheap back then too.

In general do you find tcg stores in Japan are happy to accept trade-ins of Japanese cards from gaijin?
Yes, I think so! Some of stores sell English cards, so they might accept English cards! Please don't forget bring passport when you bring cards to shop:)

Well I'm not sure about tax system exactly... but they didn't offer tax free options for tourist, so I guess you have to pay 10% tax🧐But let me check!
