UPDATE 17/10/2023 Alice confirmed Mindseed did NOT break into her property. But there is far more to tell in this story which I will do so as soon as I have all the info.
This one gets wild. These allegations are serious so i want to reiterate, any criminal accusations are, as of the time of uploading this video, are alleged.
But what is a fact is Mindseed lying about the location that they claimed is haunted.

Oh wow, poor Alice. 😟 It beggars belief they didn't think the place would be recognised; as for the rest of the information that has come out of all this, I really feel for her. No permission sought for the purposes of their visit (if indeed they even booked to stay), therefore no permission to use her property as a location to "investigate" (I use that term very loosely). I know he's one of the worst and obviously it's all BS, but Jody Dean does the exact same thing. I've found properties he claims "an entire family was murdered in" that they "cant give away, no one will buy it" for sale online. Then again, he had so many lies, I don't think anything he said was true.

I feel as tho debunkers and their communities have a greater respect for people's beliefs compared to the fakers. If you have intentions of going to a person's home/ business, entry to the place isn't the only permission. If a person, such as Alice, has very deep religious beliefs, they won't want that kind of activity. I could hear the disappointment in her voice and in her words. She was disrespected. In civil court, yes she can sue them for damages to her business. Advertised as a Christian faith based place for healing, it would be very damaging to have it all over youtube as a place where evil spirits or demons live also.
The punitive damages would be what is in the movies as "pain and suffering". A judge would decide how hurtful the damage they caused, and the extent of the psychological damage has effected her; the judge also decides the amount awarded as punitive damges.
Both of those have limits to amounts of money can be awarded, and it varies state to state because we are technically 50 different countries in one union. The numbers I put in the comment are from a basic search in Mississippi.
If the police get involved because they broke into her house, and they are convicted of the crime, it helps her civil case a lot. But, that would depend on whether the local district attorney chose to press the charges.
This is more than just a debunk, it's brilliance! If you ever claim you are "not a debunker" again - im going to start a rumour that you did it with a horse.

Yeah lets start calling strangers and turning their life upside down for content. That is brilliant. People like to do things and say hey look at these bad guys but don't realize that the original video been up for 5 months and obviously no one recognized her property thought it was haunted and it did not stop her from getting any bookings. So in my eyes no harm equals no foul whether what they did was not cool. But what he did was turn this ladies life upside down. Her life isn't the same. No one thinks about that though. Just when i was becoming a fan of this channel his brilliance was too brilliant. Some things are better left alone. He could've done is normal call out and expose the house was not what they said. Calling people and actually putting this property and owner out on the internet without thinking about the actual consequences of the idiots on the internet will now do.

I encountered Mindseed TV last 2018, and immediately after that, I discovered Omargosh. I have this feeling that they faked the videos they are making (or at least some or maybe even most of them). Last 2021, I found a channel (unfortunately, I have forgotten its name) calling out these channels for faking their content. I feel delighted after finding out that I was not alone in thinking that. I will definitely wait for updates on how this thing progresses.

I had a feeling when I watched the last video that the location would be found and Mindseed would be called out for this BS. I really think a debunking group needs to be assembled for location identification so homeowners and viewers can be notified every single time a property is misused in this manner. Every channel needs to be held accountable when they do this sort of thing, it's not okay and it's become a popular tactic. It won't stop until they face consequences.

This is how a debunk should be done 👌 You was given information you research it properly then you took your own evidence and you dug deeper until you presented a factual account of fakery.
You left no stone unturned and did it all with the upmost integrity even though you could have easily called Mind Seed all the names under the sun you kept your cool and earned respect.
For those of us who prefer actual facts to just slating a channel as ive witnessed other dubunking channels do a lot I was utterly impressed with the evidence you provided and by your compassion towards the property owner who is the innocent party and victim in all this fakery. I'm sure she was grateful to you for bringing this to her attention by contacting her personally instead if just sending a email that she could have ignored and been non the wiser of how her home/business has been used.
My God, you did an incredible job. Hopefully, the owner will keep you up-to-date and keep us up-to-date and I wonder what Mindseed will say about it. If they say anything that is.
I have been saying for a long time. A lot of those big channels are going to Airbnb because they are cheap and claiming that these are locations that are haunted.
I hope others can be caught like this and exposed. I feel horrible for that homeowner. She takes her faith personally with conviction.
The sad part is, none of those channels that are faking and claiming places that are haunted that are not do not care. It is a business that is making the money and giving them fame.

I wouldn't put it past them to fake a live and broadcast pre-recorded footage. I've seen a number of tutorials on how to do this using OBS. Everything about their narratives is usually made up or scripted. To me Mindseed are just an evolution from the Blair Witch Project where they want to create the illusion that it's real so that it adds to the scariness of their content. It's still fun to pull it apart though. Great vid as usual.

That's some outstanding detective work. I, too, thought it being called a plantation was a little much. It just seemed like a larger turn-of-the-century ranch house or something to me. But I also didn't know if or what smaller plantations would look like.
As for Mindseed, I would have never guessed that B&E would have been involved with this. Like most, I figure it was the usual rent a place and claim it's haunted without the owner being made aware that's why it's being rented.
Which is scummy even without faking stuff. But if what Alice insinuates is true, and it was also criminal... that's beyond the pale.

I am a more than casual, though less than devoted fan to MindseedTV, so I will attempt to remain as unbiased as possible. I have seen both the Live Stream and video this is in reference to. However possible it is they might be fakers which is reprehensible in the community, I am not here to debunk or refute any claims that have been made or evidence captured as to the alleged haunted nature of the building. I do however have particular insight on various factors and points that you've brought up. I as well have a moderate legal background and levels of understanding that will be aiding in my conclusions and any speculations made. As a disclaimer: I DO NOT ENDORSE MY OPINION AS FACT, NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE WITHOUT CONSULTING A PRACTICING LEGAL PROFESSIONAL.
To preface this, I don't condone any unauthorized/ unlawful entry to any location for any reason, but it's reasonable to believe that the MindseedTV channel could afford a stay at this establishment with the amount of income it generates. Where it is later determined they unlawfully made entry then this entire analysis is void.
My first suspicion is that the name Casey Nolan could potentially either be an alias used for the show, and/or in some capacity related to it if it's not his real name. Since the place is an Air-BnB and a private business, oftentimes the caretakers and staff use the honor system during a transaction, focusing less on the details aside from merely getting paid. So the possibility exists that different names were used, as well as masking their intent under the guise of not being there to do what they were actually doing. It's also possible given that Alice is not a resident of the home, she likely has a caretaker that could have potentially taken an 'under the table' deal to rent for one night off the books?
Another point is the Live Stream they conducted outside the house aired on April 22, and the video of their stay and investigation premiered July 20th. If you consider how long it would take to edit one of their videos, the video could've been filmed anytime within that 3 month span, or even prior to it. However plausible there's no real way to tell when it was done, though they were likely deliberately wearing the same clothes for video continuity if the video was indeed recorded on a different yet similar night.
By my understanding, the only reasonable approach Alice can take at this is civilly, by way of a lawsuit. Through my preponderance of the evidence, she could be a victim of defamation, more specifically libel, brought against her marketed property through the video publication that was released and based on it's effect.
The burden of proof in Court rests on the plaintiff's ability to first demonstrate that the plausible defendant, MindseedTV with/out intent and with/out malice (depending on jurisdiction) made objectively false claims or statements in the video about the establishment that were purported to be true; The falsehoods reached 3rd parties; The false nature of the claims or statements as a result, present the existence of fault or liability amounting in at least but not limited to negligence; Any harm or damages incurred to the entity's reputation and/or ability to maintain itself.
Where MindseedTV has a workable legal explanation, and made legal entry to the building, (certainly they've pondered this scenario before to determine legalities and loopholes), they can make the argument that although they may/not have misrepresented themselves upon initially obtaining 'good faith' authorization to be there, a question arises to whether they were in violation of any rules or policies of the establishment at the time of their stay, if no laws were believed to have been violated. They could and would argue that their intent behind the video is/was to create entertaining content for their channel, and not to stigmatize or hurt the establishment's reputation.They will argue that the mere fact they researched the location enough to determine it's whereabouts, would then direct them to it's actual purpose upon arrival, and for them to misrepresent it as they did, show's they reasonably knew at the time what the place in fact was. Given the visible signage obviously posted on and about the property and curtilage, as well as their claim of it being located in a completely separate state to where it actually is.
Then lastly, the burden of proof shifts to any harm or damage to the reputation of the establishment. It would encompass anyone who saw the video, and/or by word of mouth or rumor that passed over the location as a customer, who otherwise wouldn't have if not presented with the falsehoods; resulting in further customer and monetary loss for the establishment. How many would-be customers did Alice lose as a result of the video? Where the building and property's typical business purposes were said to be out of season, or in just an indefinite lull, it's difficult to imagine the volume of revenue loss incurred to the establishment due directly as a result of the video, although I feel comfortable in my reasoning that the losses were minimal to none. It's also difficult to determine the number of people who saw the video, that could and would directly associate the limited exterior shots of the property, and vague description of the location filmed, with the actual location and what it really is. As you had noted they did all that they could in their video to disguise the name and location of the property.
That still didn't stop you from figuring out where this place was and its true nature, the same as they likely did prior. It would seem only the super-sleuths who care enough (for whatever their valid reason), are the ones discovering the in-congruent factors in which to question. Also remember (whatever the right thing was for you to do, and I'm not saying you we're wrong in doing so), Alice was not aware of this situation prior to you bringing it to her attention; so any harm or damages to the establishment's reputation at the time seemingly weren't evident, or even apparent to her knowledge. After the fact with further time to investigate, it could prove otherwise, though it's uncertain.
I have no doubt that Alice feels wronged and upset at how MindseedTV gained entry to, and misrepresented her property. I share the sentiment that her feelings deserve to be validated by the right people, including those responsible. I understand she wants those accountable to answer for this, and I believe that MindseedTV in this instance most certainly at least has questionable ethical practices, if not could potentially be liable for a standard of defamation that is although possible to demonstrate, its not so easily accomplished. Morally I believe that regardless of the legal circumstances, Alice is entitled to some form of compensation whether through settlement or by judgement. We shall see how it plays out since she seems to want to pursue this.
Sorry for the lengthy comment, but I hope this sheds some light on the situation.
This is a fantastic comment that I had to read a couple times to take it all in. There is a lot of factors to take in here and I appreciate you giving your opinion (as someone with a legal background) on this very complicated situation.
I can totally see where you are coming from with much of what you say. I haven’t spoken to Alice since the interview so I’m not sure where she is currently at with all this. I don’t want to keep pestering her so I will give her some room to breath before I contact her again.

What has happened to this poor woman is absolutley disgusting. Even before you mentioned it yourself, from the words the woman spoke, you could tell she was clearly very religious. I am not religious, but I do respect and understand how important beliefs are for people. This must be horrifiying for her. The fact the stream is compounded by lies about the history, and the potential investigation into access to the property, should shame these men to the core. Along with anyone who supports them. Mindseed even cussed out their audience, that they are not fake. It's one thing to be fake, I still liked, to watch some of their videos, but after telling all, who doesn't believe them can f off is not nice. That was when I unsubscribed.
