That opening frame with the plastic covered window was absolutely beautiful. A lot of your b role shots are some of your best work. Don’t take that had a negative. I love your work and think your choice of audio is simply perfect. Gets me all emotional and shit
Wow.... The photo you took in the office is just amazing. The damaged ceiling, the 1981 magazine and the broken lamp in the upper left corner. Gives a beautiful and yet melancholic vibe.
Thank you so mucg
Wow very enjoyable. Professionally presented in a humble way. The photos are superb especially the back lit one 1981. All together the perfect package. More please
One of your best video's Robbie, and a great subject, with time capsule images.
I’d say that the astrology room photo would be my favorite one! Stunning work Robbie!
Growing up, my family often explored abandoned houses, so this video brought back a lot of memories. The photo of the telescope room is brilliant, with the reflection of the framed "picture" offsetting the window. Your production value is calming and well done. It killed me a bit that you didn't include the mask in a photo, but then I like very quirky things.
haha I had a photo of it on the Yashica Mat 124g but it just didnt fit with the video
Maybe your best video yet Robbie. Beautiful videography, beautiful photos, beautiful storytelling. I love how carefully you handled their story and their homestead. Your respect for the past and the way you always find a path to telling the story uniquely, but justly, is always refreshing. Really loved this one.
Thank you my friend :)
Lucky dude, Robbie. I'd love to find something like that homestead . Great work.
Thanks KB!
What a great story Robbie. This video was not too long. From my point of view, you've created desireable juxtapositioning. I experience a feeling of satisfaction, gratification, and even inspiration versus a hunger for more. I hope you're able to return to photograph this place after it's been restored. I look forward to your next video. Thank you for sharing this.
I would like to! Hopefully I can get the approval
What a find and great storytelling!!
Utterly Fantastic video/episode. Well done Robbie. Quality !
Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed this Robbie, great work, really atmospheric with beautiful music. Well done! 👍👏
Thanks!
Great video and photos!
But the “velvet room” cries for color!
Haha id rather the room cry than myself for spending $80 on some portra 400
Awesome! Great pictures and even better video - thank you for sharing!

Awesome project and video
Glad you like it
Hey Robbie I'm at work too much and am at least 3 videos behind but I'll catch up. At 9:51 you can see that the old property owner liked Tito's Handmade Vodka. I would have checked the box to see if there were any leftovers. 😁👍
I love the picture of the ‘astrology room’ with the telescope. Very nice. Great work on both photography and documentary, very much enjoyed both.
I appreciate it James!
Brilliant video, Robbie! But always look behind you for the image that gets away (at 20:00-ish, the bureau in the corner). Easy to say, hard to see. :-)
Gotta be honest, I hated the way the bureau looked lol
I thought the same EXACT thing, always look behind you.
Is it possible to give the viewers the name of the Magazine/Book you were talking about. The first shot of the telescope is poetry the quality of 4x5 comes out here.
Im not certain of what its purpose was but it was from the School of Modern Photography
Great video and lovely photography. Thank you for sharing.
I do have a question. Since I have a good guess as to what Mummy 400 is, I’d like to know at what ISO you rated it and how you developed it. Thanks!
Thanks Kevin! I shot it at 400 and developed it with DD-X at 8 Minutes (72 degrees Fahrenheit)
Very nice video! Does anybody know the first song? Can you tell me the artist and title? Thank you.
I was using MusicBed at the time - I honestly dont remember the music since I cancelled my subscription.
I would give you 3 likes if I could. One for the photos, one for the video/edit work and one for your words/thoughts. Thank you.
Create three new accounts ;) LOL
Every single video is a masterpiece, appreciate 🫡
