27:13 "If I can see it, it can't be that bloody far!" That cracked me up, haha.
Absolutely amazing to watch, I wanted to cry when one of the runners said "all the hurting is healing, it clears your mind of all of the bad thoughts"
Made me cry. Awesome people , awesome event and stunning country ♥️
Agree with everyone this is a wonderful inspiring film and showcases Scotland and ultra running. Love it.
I am amazed with the weather being so good that far north in Scotland!! Beautiful
Or anywhere in Scotland. For that many days in a row. They were very lucky.
Yeah, really sells the the place and makes you want to go there. Soda law it would be miserable the whole time if you visited.
That is an excellent film... love the sweet stealer and the two ladies at 27:30 - well done
Spectacular! Wow!!
Brilliant, deep respect to all those that had the courage to attempt such an epic journey in the most scenic backdrop of the land of my birth. Totally uplifting, thank you!
Compliments to the producers. Really enjoyed watching that. The emotion of the lady at the very end says it all.
Awesomeness
Brilliantly filmed and really inspiring.
Inspirational for sure, think when you’ve run an ultra it gives you just a small insight into the world of these multi-day maniacs. I salute you all.
Absolutely amazing!
Thankyou
Amazing race, amazing production!
great way to see the country.
Beautiful event and inspiring filming!
Wat a beautiful film....
Unbelievable...
Huge respect from India 🇮🇳
Possibly the best ultra running video I have come across. Thank you!

Great Doc, well filmed of some of the finest places in Scotland. Recognised all these lovely spots having backpacked and cyclepacked Scotland over many years. Can't imagine running it though !
However, good to be self contained, camping wild over multi day treks.
That shot up Loch Hourn from near Barrisdale is lovely, Kinloch Hourn to Barrisdale is a classic walk.
Nicely organised race and friendly participants with everyone looking after each other.
Thanx, enjoyed watching this. MS, Scotland.
Massive kudos, and massively inspired, by the man who's running it before he turns 75! Amazing.
Lovely... Thank you. 😊
Absolutely brilliant, well done, would love this run 👌
Wow! This is inspiring and beautifully filmed and thoughtfully produced. All those taking part seem like amazing people.
Amazing - the athletes are humble & their achievement so understated. Oh yes, it’s British…. 🇬🇧 🏴
Fantastic beautiful film and made me very emotional! You’ve now added this to my ‘bucket list’ 👍🏃♂️
Me to
Me 3 💪🏼
Absolutely amazing piece! Thank you for putting this together. I can't wait to walk this magnificent journey!
Love, love, love this. The landscape, the people, the music. One day, maybe...
Exciting, inspired and motivating event. Well done to all involved . My respect and appreciation ! Lesson of life. All the best from Romania!
Felicitări din România !
What a challenge. Well done all and great video
Great video. Looks like great event. This one is added to my bucket list 😁
Mark Rawlinson is my new ultra running hero.
Fucking legend 😂
Amazing effort, great job Rich, could have watched more!
Absolutely love this.
in case anyone is wondering, that song at the end is called "Will ye go lassie go/Purple Heather/Wild Mountain Thyme/Blooming Heather." Never seen a song go by so many titles.
Bearcingetorix Too true, and it’s great under all of them! I knew it as “will ye go lassie go”.
That's exactly what I was looking for!
Absolutely stunning ! Inspiring indeed.
Just incredible!
Incredible experience and superb film in one of the most beautiful places, totally stunning
Brilliant! Fantastic people in epic scenery - what an incredible achievement.

Well done great to watch and thanks for sharing ..
Amazing strength.
Great work Gaz!
I'm excited and terrified in equal measure about taking part in the 2020 edition. It's certainly going to be Type 2 fun...
Oliver Smiddy covid19
I'm sorry things didn't work out, hopefully 2021 ends up better!
Really enjoyed that 🙂🙂🙂
The landscapes are so epic, go go Ian White
Beautiful country.
Brilliant and very beautiful. This I also want
amazing people i have great respect for anyone competing in an event like this. id love to have a go myself but give me an extra day or two lol but in all seriousness this is the land of my birth and to do something like this would be an epic dream
Incredible. 🥰
Wow!
Sweet lord it's an expensive one to enter. Looks great though.
Just checked... ouch but probably worth it if you can get a spot!
These distances seem genuinely mad for consecutive days.
Would very much like to do this race.
wow
Wow, well done all.. something I can only ever dream of doing.. if the emotions don’t tell the pain, the feet at 29:40 have a story all to themselves 😂 👏🏼👏🏼
Wow!!!!!!!
This should be called the "trenchfoot classic". So many swamps
When this gets me into adventure racing, ultra running and the worst financial decision of my life
Like Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli running after the Orcs
❤️❤️❤️
Looks like a beauty - epic looking race! Hopefully not too many midgies about!
You did not show the trackless wasteland (The Parph) between Sandwood Bay and Cape Wrath?
Could the documentary be purchased please ?
When is the next one please? I suffer with really bad anxiety and depression and that's all my body wants to do but never gets a chance. I'm sure if I can stress out for 4/5days with no sleep no food on a regular basis I'd be able to do this I would like to put all the negative energy I have into a positive one like this event
how long does it take?
Well... I’ve got another “race” added to my list.
Hi, if I understand right this race is not marked so how do you go the right way and stay on trail?
they have maps!
💙👀
Och Aye
😀👍
29:40 run is fun they say ... hold on...
Congratulations!! And me just Strictly natural food I ran until now for the year 2020 only, many ultra marathons races register in duv ultra marathons statistics many thousands! miles!! 😊😊and I have to run one more race 100km on December 2020..
23:00
There’s quite a lot of people to come through after you”
“Fuck them”
Ahahahahah
The tone was perfect, had me in bits
"I have no idea why I'm doing this, all of this is pointless.... but hey, fuck it."
This well made documentary has 103k views and some 8 year old being pushed in front of a camera by his parents to review whoopie cushions or some shite will have 40m views. CZcams is awful at times.
@9:56
LOL at Italian lady casually dropping she won the lottery.
That's one way to fund travel, I guess :))
I think it was the lottery to get into the new York marathon. Not the actual lottery! 😀
@@MrAlpal2005 Ah, I might've misheard.
'I do it for my children if it was for me I'd stop'. Who are you kidding, it's always for self.
Much more palatable and adult than the average BMC climbing video.
Class, very middle class.
Bet they actually think running is a good way of exercising
At least it is what human have done for nearly all our existance
Nice scenery, but every participant has white skin. Are you doing anything to make the race more representative of Britain and the world please?
YOU WOKE KNOB
@@MessingWithMatches Stupid complaint? Only a racist would see that question as a complaint.
I'm sorry, but this route is not designed for racing, especially when most of the runners walk anyway. I find it totally disrespectful
to the native land and harsh environment of Cape Wrath to turn it into a circus for someone's self-centred ego on the global stage.
I'm sorry you feel that way, and I'm sorry you don't understand the mindset of these athletes
