    Great product worked well with my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge the instructions were to leave it for 10 minutes but when I did this, it barely did anything so I left it for and hour and the scratches are barely noticeable, it needs a couple of applies to permanently remove the scratch other than that I don't think this product is good for very deep scratches or long and hard ones, which I didn't use it for, I would recommend only for very small micro scratches that's not very noticeable other than that great product

    You guys are missing the idea. Toothpaste has tiny grains in it so it works as a very small caliber sanding paper
    You might as well buy the lowest caliber sanding paper or sanding paste and apply it but you need to actually squeeze hard for a long time. The point is to polish your screen again to a flat surface not to fill the scratches with toothpaste.
    It works but it's hard to do :) someone with experience knows how to turn a rough finish to a mirror so that applies here

    • @joshhayl7459
      @joshhayl7459 Před 2 lety +15

    Toothpaste only acts as a polish. It only polishes, not fills scratches. If you want to fix your screen then just get some fine superglue. They make glues for plastics and that’s what you want to use. Apply a very thin layer of glue and spread it with a flat rubber scraping tool like an icing spreader. Then after 3 minutes put some isopropanol on a rag and wipe the screen once over but don’t apply to much force or you’ll remove the glue that’s set in the scratches.

    • @buttersstotch4956

      I don’t doubt this works but toothpaste especially baking powder based toothpaste has a very light sanding effect due to the micro-grains in it so it’s not so much polishing as it is buffing

But the dean said that I would have to wait until tomorrow to get it because she had already locked her office up. And then next day I got it back and the headphones were all tangled and the battery was out and before I got it taken away it was at like 90% cause it was 2nd period. The worst thing about what happened when it was locked up was they gave me the biggest scratch on my phone and you can put your nail over it and just feel it

    people you cant fix scratches on most phones... the only thing you can do is hide them with "HYDROGEL Screen Protector" the gel on the screen protector will fill the scratches hope this helps...

    Great video. I liked how it gets rid of the scratches and smudges on the phone. But I'm a germaphobe so I hate anything on my phone that's why I bought atom cleanse device. I find it easier to use and gets rid of all the germs and bacteria on my phone. It has seemed to do the best job at keeping my phone clean.

    Baking powder is not the same as baking soda. Former also contains starch and (citric) acid.

    it doesn't seem logical, i mean to remove scratches you would have to have some sort of replacement to fill in the scratches their for removing scratches. This is more of a cleaner rather than a scratch remover.
