What I love about Elon, is no matter the setting, no matter the situation, he’s always the same person. He doesn’t act like a politician or some snobby rich guy. He just a genuine real human being, who is incredibly smart and wears no filter at all. Like the presentation of them was kinda awkward and funny at the same time, which I feel like Elon kinda is at all times.

Dude, he's a salesman. He's not just selling cars and trucks, he's selling himself as some kind of techno-scientific savior. He's so desperate for approval, it's just off-putting. I'm very leery of not having a handle on the door. If that control circuit has any kind of external communication method (besides the key fob), you can bet you'll see people getting locked out of their vehicles. You are already seeing peoples "keyless" cars being stolen via signal repeaters. Just because something looks futuristic and cool doesn't mean it is good...
Although you speak sense the thing is- even normal cars can be stolen if not protected from predators and this likely is gps tracked to help discover its last known whereabouts and find the thieves…keeping a purchased product safe from thieves has long been the responsibility of the owner…I personally dont find this car as appealing as a classic

Automatic doors isn't an issue to fear. If you're in a wreck and need out, just say "canopy, canopy, canopy" and you will be promptly expelled.
If Tesla allowed you to actually own your vehicle and maintain it how you would like I may consider it.

It's pretty ugly to my eyes as well. I feel it is a bit of homage to the Delorean. The name 'cyber truck' is also a childish name like 'spacemobile'. I fear it might mark the downfall of tesla. Big, ugly, heavy lump that becomes a goofy fail. Driving one of these things will scream 'try hard nerd'. However Elon is Elon, the normal rules don't seem to apply to him. So it could also be a huge success and a iconic vehicle that all collectors must have. .
Even though it looks like an unrendered car, it can be taken as a theme. For example in a word of extremely detailed games people still enjoy games like Minecraft. It also reminds me of stealth airplane. There will also be a contrast between the simple shape and advanced technology.

I enjoy listening to Elon even though the truck really isn't for me. I can see it in a futuristic world though when civilisation has caught up. Elon's like a pioneer in human evolution giving people a glimpse of how things could look in 100/200 years from now.

Who needs handles? Just stupid. Mechanical door handles almost never fail. The electrical actuators for those doors will fail. That giant windshield wiper looks stupid as well.
The massive windshield wiper is temporary, the same system is used to open the door on every Tesla and some other cars just without the push of a button.
@@orbitron2330 They say it's temporary, but still haven't come up with better option to show after 4 years. The fact that a lot of auto manufacturers are eliminating reliable mechanical parts and replacing them with less reliable and more costly electronics is one of many reasons why I stay away from newer cars. I would love to buy an EV, but instead of making them simpler and more reliable than traditional ICE cars, major autos over complicate them.
@@JEP-Tech I do agree most new cars are locked by the manufacturer, the original Tesla cyber truck prototype was so barbaric and the newer one is more well rounded but still a prototype. Let’s see what is shown in a few months or next year

I'd have no problem using it in either my mobile mechanic or landscaping trades. Not all trucks are for everyone. If you have to tow 1000 miles every day, not for you.
