Pilots made a good wage but they are not rich. Plus being a pilot is hard work
And even then they cannot properly license the simulator. Common on, a Acadamic license? I can live with some home computer simmer using an acadamic license, but not a company like Virtual Fly..
Maybe they should have used X-Plane instead. Costs about the same as an academic license and with XPUIPC you can still wireup all the interfaces.

+2Fast4Mellow Is it P3D? I didn't see the license label in the top right, but I could have missed it. The only thing cool about this is the motion. Other than that the rest is not that impressive. An Ebay $100 racing seat. A touch screen for everything. Magnetic overlays with non-realistic knobs and switches. They didn't even use the tweak to get rid of the virtual cockpit on the displays. Plus I'm sure they charge some outrageous price. Just like their Yoko yokes, way overpriced.
My mistake....seats say Sparco, but the exact same style seat can be had for $100 on Ebay. Anyway still not impressed with this sim. Now the pod units are a little better.

Not too shabby :) Great impression. Normally I'd like to get rid of the bezels, but in a flight sim, it looks actually good. Maybe even 4 screens, as in 4 cockpit windows?

I had always wonder how these kind of sim "pods" will do if you roll the plane to be up side down, or just roll it 360 degree. How will it do that so you will feel it?
Now they have to make one for My Summer Car! I can imaging having full wheel support with the motion, being able to use a real axe to chop wood, and actually flip off the screen, but then for the peeing feature.......wait...
Does this have support for more than just FSX? I feel like this would be awesome running X-Plane or Prear3D, because limiting it to FSX sounds kinda... cheap.

What 737 is this? It looks like the default one, but the default one doesn't have a functional FMC. I'm guessing it uses the iFly 737?

ESP with the red brakes warning bottom left. And the MS default engine airfiles which cause the engines to surge on start-up. Easy to remedy and one wonders why they, the motion sim builders, didn't address that.
Hopefully you will see this but how do you replace the chassis it would help alot if you know how.

Why didn't you install a tiller instead taxing with the rudder? You spent a little fortune there. A 737 steers in ground with a left handle.
They need to get rid of the panels in the "outside the cockpit" view on the triple displays. You notice the FO side appear on the right display 15 minutes in. Shame you can't just buy the motion base and make your own simulator on top.
the motion platform looks cool, but the monitor setup looks a bit "cheap". They look rather small and far away... also it didn't appear that the Field of View had been correctly setup.

well no...whats the point of the dome and all the hardware....in vr all u need is the motion sim system. Mabye in a few years when VR really is that good :)
If you have three to four monitors, no need for TrackIR. I would be benificial if you only had one monitor. 3-4 monitors is a viewing angle of 180 degrees(ish).

You can't really look behind in a Boeing...it's not a fighter jet with a bubble canopy.
We have like one of those simulators on the flight academy here in the city, delivered by FIRST Scandinavia, i think.

Hey I figured out how to play Eve Valkyrie warzone using the T-80 Thrustmaster steering wheel NOTE EXPLAIN TO THE COMMUNITY they must unplug the steering wheel plug it in holding the PS button till the light start flashing yellow or Orange go to settings and configuration keep mapping

I use virtual reality, flyinside on the rift. No need for a cockpit as it puts you right inside the sim (real world size).
But can you do backflips ?

They're using the default FSX/P3D Boeing 737-800 model!
And they're using the Academic Version of P3D in a product which they are selling. That has got to be illegal.

Just the flight panel, rudder peddles, yoke, and throttle are nearly $7,400. That doesn't even include the monitors, or the motion cabin.

Around 17:30 as you're turning you say you feel leaning to the left. If you're in a coordinated turn, as you should be, you shouldn't have that feeling. Is this simulator giving the experience a lay-person would expect rather than an accurate experience (within the limits of the technology)?
