Try not to cry challenge anyone? 😅
Sad details and stories can be found all throughout pretty much any all video games that exist so I thought why not switch things up a bit and take a look at a few...
Hope you enjoy & or cry 😘😅
P.S. If you would like me to cover more sad details in video games then be sure to give this video a like! 👍
Very sad detail, i was playing Team Fortress 2 and a Hoovy crawled up to me and passed me a sandwich, i tried being friendly but then he died.
Very sad.
I'm not sentimental.
Bro we need more of this, theres a lot of this kind of destails in videogames, for example in days gone after you say good bye to boozeman you can watch him sitting on his bed all sad, ghost of tsushima also have some good ones, not to mention the witcher 3
Can you do Marvel's Avengers!? It's a controversial game... But it's filled with Easter eggs and details! ❤️🦹♀️
It is where cyberpunk also shines
The watchdogs one hurts deeper the more you grow up.
Especially when include Lena Pearce. Those mafias were mad, they really want about money and power and they don't care with every people's life including children's life

the fallout 4 one was the saddest for me since imagine being trapped not knowing the world above you just got nuked
Honestly I would rather die of dehydration than ARS
You should play fallout new vegas and look around for Randall Clark's story
@@FuckCZcams385 damn bro, both are arguably on the point of being so terrible you can’t tell the difference when you’re dying to it
The entire fallout series has some sad stories. Take dogmeat. Where'd his family go? His loved ones? Probably gone to the war :(
@@thatoneduckle4583 Dogmeat is not pre-war tho, so his family/owner probably just got killed by raiders or something
One of my saddestest details I found was in Mass Effect 3. Right before the final battle there's an Alliance officer communicating by radio with a civilian. He's trying to teach her how to tourniquet her friend's wound. It doesn't work, and she says she can see Reaper infantry marching towards her and that she's going to end it before they can harvest her. The officer tells her to pick up her weapon and fight. But she says it's too late, thanks him for everything, and says goodbye. That was heartbreaking.
Oh yeah!
I remember listening to that during my playthrough a few weeks back, might I have include that one in a part 2 or something!
@@oKnightzo That'd be awesome. Can't wait to see it!
Thanks for reminding me. That radio conversation was heart wrenching.
I was considering joining the airforce years ago to do my nursing degree. I was at the war memorial and they had a real life radio conversation between a ground medic with a bleeding out soldier, a dust off chopper going to pick up the medic, a gunship providing cover and the base command directing all of them. What messed me up was how little emotion there was in any of it.
It went roughly like,
Base: *Directs Dustoff to go collect medic and wounded soldier, gunship to provide cover*
Medic: "Yeah we need to get up quickly please. This fella is in some trouble."
Dustoff: "I see the smoke. Coming down."
Gunship: "Yeah it looks clear. Coming back around"
Medic: "I see, you we're coming"
Dustoff: "Yeah there he is. We've got him"
*Long silence*
Base: "Do you have him?"
*silence*
Base: "Gunship, can you see him?"
Gunship: "Coming back around now. I see smoke... stand by... ... *no change in tone* Ah yeah, looks like an RPG got them. Dustoff down"
Base: "Any survivors?"
Gunship: "It's on fire"
Base: "Understood. Return to base"
Gunship: "Returning"
It was Ice. Cold. No Hollywood screaming, no raised voices. Medic sounded a little rushed. Gunship guy paused for just a second before reporting that they died. Base guy sounded ever so slightly disappointed. That was all the emotion that was in it. Zero drama.
But the worst part? They included at the end the base informing the field commander (I don't know ranks) that the medic, his son, was K.I.A. He simply said "Thank you for informing me." "You're welcome, Sir." End.
I know we love that Hollywood drama with the "I didn't sign up for this shit!" and cowboy whooping. The radio bit was sad in ME3. But I found the real life thing so cold and clinical that it shook me.
I did not enlist. I applied for University and am now working on my post grad. Sure I'm no hero... but I'm happy that I've never had to have a radio conversation like that.
@@CappyK The amount of effort that goes into dehumanizing soldiers, and essentially turning them into military robots is staggering.
Red Dead Redemption II has crafted a world so complex even animals have detailed routines and emotions. It's crazy, this game makes you feel bad for killing pixilated recreations of wild life creatures.

@@oldarthurmorgan6319 Hello, uncle Arthur. 👋
When the woman stuck in the safe saying she is so thirsty, my heart broke....
That Krogan, wrote a damn good poem. It always made me break a little.
Man that Fallout one was so wel voice-acted, I really hoped she would be found in time 😢
she was found.....
Lets just say u found her skeleton ingame
Did you not see the end of the clip? She recorded it when the bombs fell. She died.
For anyone who hasn't played fallout 4 I highly suggest it. The game is so good I have played the story multiple times.
@@StupidNSimplesns no, she recorded it after the bombs fell. She was protected from the blast but slowly died of dehydration.
Me before the video "I'm not gonna cry there just some stupid details" also me crying his eyes out at the watch dogs one.
RIP Dad
I wish the other Watch Dogs followed the tone of the first one..
That part got me the most-
Watchdogs 2. And 1 man..
It's ok. He wasnt dead he had just been on a mad bender and passed out on the floor after half eating a kebab. He woke up later that day and sorted himself out with a bacon sandwich
I still remember that one voice log in Dead Space 2 where a woman cries about having to kill her child because she turned into a monster, but the thing that makes it so heartbreaking is not only the way she breaks down crying as she blames her husband for the death of their child, but you're left wondering if their child actually became a monster or if the poor woman hallucinated everything and killed her out of fear. Either way both scenarios are gut-wrenching.
The son calling his dad was a heart breaker for me. Imagine calling one of your dad telling them how much the kiddos cant wait to see him and you don't even know that he's gone already...anybody who has lost a loved one mom or dad, sister or brother, or a relative a close friend I send much love too all you people who are going through this and stay strong! Always remember to love one another and cherish the times you get to spend with the people you love! Time is short so live life with no regrets
That part really made me cry
This was my favourite series I’ve ever created. I managed to find so many sad details 😔
It's good to see Captain Price here.
Oddly enough this is one of my favourite videos that I've made, had a lot fun putting it together... despite how utterly depressing the clips are.
Also glad that despite your extensive coverage of the topic there's still a ton of others left for us to shed tears over 😄
"I've created the series...but at what cost?"
Big fan cap....
How on earth was it your favourite!?
Everything with dogs just breaks my heart. Like in real life.
Same
I don’t watch any movies with dogs in it just because ik they won’t make it to the end
czcams.com/video/20ZNNFagh5Y/video.html😀😁
It also doesn’t help that my horse died earlier today in RDR2
@Kushkhov_64 His name was Brewster and the story of how he died was.I just finished...murdering a few people and I was with another horse that I picked up along the way and Brewster was behind me and the horse but when we stopped on a bridge to throw stuff down into the river Brewster backed up and fell of it.He was still alive but my game glitched and he was stuck there so I set up camp and went to bed to see if he was with me when I woke up but he was gone
Jeesus that was a long horse death 😅😢
Gotta say, the fallout 4 one was so convincing. That one was a little rough to listen to
There's another really sad story though it's more implied than told to you. If you go to one of the town squares you have a high chance of running into a hoard of ghouls, these ghouls are actually your character's neighbors that you watched pleading for a way inside the vault at the start of the game. Withered, left to wonder. They're your friends and neighbors come to kill you and anyone else around you after being left behind. It's poetic tragedy if you really think about the implications of what they went through especially if you have the nuka world DLC and know the story of the ghouls there and how they transformed.
@@Symbolic-Sky Holy shit. thats depressing
Mass Effect 3 has a really sad one with a teenage refugee girl waiting for her parents on the Citadel.
Or the one with jokers sister and an asari with ptsd
Damn , that prototype 2 detail is probably the darkest out of them all.
Darker than a poor woman slowly dying of thirst and hunger inside a vault?
@@ShadowLegend300 Debately as this detail is actually shown to you and actually occurs randomly in-game.
Seeing a city so far gone that people suicide in the masses is pretty depressing.
@@ShadowLegend300 yes
@@ShadowLegend300 Would you rather listen to someone die or watch it? Cause if I have to watch someone burn to death it’d probably be worse to my mental health than just listening to it.
@@Krosstic Well, I think id rather see some silly ragdoll of a suicide with barely any context aside from "dying city sucks" than hear the last moments of a crying dying woman and then see her skeleton
First of all, I'm glad someone remembers the Prototype games, I've played them but never found a suicidal person.. it broke me ngl, the RDR and Skyrim one broke me too, amazing how you can actually stand next to the Giant who lost his mammoth and he doesn't hurt you, it's a moment of peace. And oh the fallout one is emotional too, I thought it was a live signal until you found the room she was in and the radio says "this is a pre recorded message" that just shocked me, wish we could have saved her.
Oh and also, "Sorrow."
Thanks for watching Adi!
And Yeah there's a lot of depth to the these sad details.
Loved the prototype games played the shit out of them on 360
I wish they made more.
@@Obozo_Gaming same! I wish they made prototype 3 so bad
hey there is another sad skyrim easter egg. You prob already saw it cause it blew up on CZcams a few months back, but in one of the crypts. If you go into a back corner behind a bunch of boulders, you find the skeleton of a pregnant woman and her baby's skeleton inside her.
Aww man, I really wanted that Krogan one and asari to work out. Krogans aren’t known for being sensitive, but that last message was honestly beautiful. And the asari lady donated proceeds to war relief to help her boyfriend.
Damn the actress in that Fallout 4 one really nailed the voice acting!
Props to whoever she is.

the fallout 4 jewelry safe is the most heartbreaking one for me. Because I can actually feel her pain of getting locked in and having to die slowly with no food, water, or fresh oxygen. Great voice acting.
That Krogan one was saddest.

I really wanted the tape to have at least some reaction for the boy instead of abruptly cutting out after the yelping/cracking... like come on, kids are barely contained bundles of emotions. This video made me remind of something I saw in Days Gone. I was riding the motorcycle, stopped in a very little broken house by a lake to catch supplies and that was when I saw it. A dead couple on the lakeside, both with fishing rods and one little table between then with two pill boxes. The woman was with her head down while the man was looking at her. I looked at it for a while thinking what could have happened and then came to a conclusion: they both decided to suicide together by pill poisoning doing something that they liked for the last time (fishing), the woman died first and the man called her name a few times until he realized she was already dead, then he died looking at the person he loved the most. Maybe I'm wrong? Yes, but that's what is nice about details like this, they're open for interpretation.

There is the Ish story in the first last of us, you can follow his journey through notes and the enviroments, his story is pretty depressing, you can find his note on the beach, then in the sewers, then in the suburbs, he traveled with his boat trying to wait the pandemic end, then when he gets back everything went to shit, then he becomes friend with the sewer people, and everything was good for a while, but then they forgot to close the door once and the infected killed most of them, including a guy who killed an entire group of children to spare them from becoming infected, then you can see how the story progress in the suburbs.
that scene make me so sad when you realised he killed the kids to keep them safe :[

That last one was sad but so heartfelt. You could hear Charr's emotions in the poem he wrote.
In gta 4 u can actually find Derrick/Florian 's funeral whenever you go there. It ain't much sad but Rockstar did these things from back in days.
Florian is dead?
I like how that npc in watch dogs 2 reacted, after you just shot someone! "Do wana start something?" lol
What really got me in ME2, as a side thing, was the salarian looking for a gift for his asari bondmate - and his step-daughter helping. The whole conversation is bittersweet.
Not step-daughter. That's his actual daughter. Remember, when Asari mate outside their species, the child is always an Asari.

What made the Fallout one way more impactful is that we find her as we're still listening to her message. That made it 100 times more painful.
That fallout 4 one actually kinda hit hard. The voice acting is really good, and the clip of them finding them in game, just I dunno the fact that its 200 years later makes it so much more depressing

When I first discovered the Watchdogs' one, I felt so bad that I just had to pause the game and cry for a bit
I've been playing Prototype 2 for so long now and I've encountered numerous people jumping off the buildings in the red zone. I think what makes it more horrifying is that there's no explanation to their suicide. They just jump and give up without even trying to talk to Heller (only "human" being they might have seen in a long time) and we would never know what went through their heads. It was as if they went lifeless long before they lost their lives. The thought of survival in a zombie infested city with no hope of getting out and being torn to pieces or dying by hunger would make anyone give up.
6:57 most chilling, heartbreaking, radio broadcast ever
rdr2 is just sad entirely. the songs, the endings, the post game depression.
This video far exceeded my expectations I think you should do more of these
In red dead redemption 2, you can find the guy who sculpted his wife’s face into the mountain and hung himself beneath it, and you can also find a couples corpses in the mountains frozen in each other’s arms.

Great video! The video and audio editing are masterfully done as well.
Can't wait for Part 2. :)
Most depressing fallout 4 one for me is the pregnant girl in the cabin who got rejected by her family and was alone when the bombs fell.
IDK if this was just me but I cried like an absolute child at the ending of the Spiderman video game. I had lost my grandmother a few months earlier and that ending was just a sucker punch to my feels. Great vid, man!
When you lose someone, it doesn’t matter if it’s a show, a movie, or anything else, I feel like you think of the loved ones you lost. I was watching suits the other day, and (spoiler) when Mike lost his grandma, I cried for I don’t know how long. Since I lost my mother and grandma every death gets me.
Thanks for making this, this video is incredible
The Mass Effect one dealt the last blow, loved playing it but never really listened to these little tasks, I never knew it would be that kind and loving Krogan T^T
"sorrow"
The rdr's wolf was so sad
That Fallout 4 one is rough, but that Bioshock one tops the list.
In every single play through of Skyrim, I always kill the mourning giant as quickly as possible so he can rejoin his fallen companion while feeling the smallest amount of pain possible himself.
I’ve been watching sad videos all night and that Watch Dogs one is the first to make me tear up.
More people need to talk about the watch dogs one, this mans son truly loves him but little does he know the reason his dad didn’t pick up the phone was because he was gone. I find that to be the most sad thing here personally.
Bioshock and Mass Effect 2 were the ones that really got me. I didn't expect to tear up like this.
Videos like these and FunWithGuru ones are the best at hitting you deep in your heart
Dude I’ve played Mass effect so many times and I never knew the poetic Krogan dies, at least he got to happy for a while and I think had a daughter. Rip man, your quest always made me smile
The mass effect one is the best for me. The krogan wanted to be with her, but when the galaxy went to shit, he fought, so that they would have a chance. Sacrifice for love is the ultime epic sadness. Kudos to you Charr, we'll defeat them, they'll be safe. I promise.
The ME one stands out as the most heartbreaking because its a Krogan who loved an Asari, but died in the end in combat like a soldier in war. Plus, he loved another that is not his kind. I never experienced the 3rd part which shepard found his corpse. I had always thought he got the girls of his dreams and rode off to the sunset. This is damn depressing.
you deserve more subcribers man. Fantasic job
One of the best video you ever made
poor doggo :c 3:08
for me the last one was slightly more personal even though I never played the games, because from the clip we saw the player was actively involved, and the outcome wasn't maliciously malice, you didn't encourage them because you wanted to see them fail (most likely). don't get me wrong, the others have their own sad element (other than the watchdogs 2 one, the build up and execution just seemed off)
Fantastic video. Thanks
To quote what agent smith said to Neil Armstrong in the battle of standford Bridge "Moooooreeee!" Great video, especially the way you done the music
