  • India is constructing a $90 billion industrial corridor between Delhi, the nation’s capital, and Mumbai, it’s financial hub and largest port city. The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) will include smart cities, investment zones, industrial areas, the western dedicated freight corridor, many power projects and several transportation improvements. It has the potential to boost the Indian economy and transform local economies.

Do you know that the first recorded riots that took place in India was over Preservation of Dogs? So was the second riot. As for the stray dogs there are laws that restrict moving them, so you cannot move them to a shelter too. You also cannot prevent someone feeding a stray dog, even if it is a regular nuisance and right outside your house.
There are many such stupid laws that animal lovers have managed to bring about, thing is some of these laws are contradictory to already provisioned laws, for example if a pack of dogs are regularly attacking people in a vicinity previously provisioned law says that the local government should protect human lives and either moves those dogs out or cull them. Sadly because of the recent additions the government cannot do that, even courts are biased enough to not see the contradiction in rules.
I love democracy and most importantly the freedom that comes with it, but motivated groups with vested interests can always undermine the democratic processes by bringing such stupid laws into existence and most people who support this only do so for virtue signalling and the feel good factor. As a result more than 30000 Indians die due to dog bites.
Whoever is reading this protect your local laws from such virtue signalling idiots, who place higher importance to animal welfare than human welfare.

      @rajnikantchande2677 Před 3 lety +3

      G.
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT: " NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR INDIA IF THEY WANT TO BE INVESTMENT FRIENDLY "
With garbage chucked around & stray animals wondering all over the place in India's existing cities, any foreign industrialist passing through major cities en route to his meeting with the state or central government minister for negotiations on his project , would be put off seeing the garbage, filth , chaos etc,
He would have a very negative impression & say to himself " India is not investor friendly " . The next hurdle this industrialist would encounter in his dealings with the minister & the civil servants would be mind- blowing petty rules & regulations ( red-tape).The industrial, by now would conclude that approval for his project would be a very slow process ( atleast 18 to 24 .months) unlike in China or Malaysia or Indonesia or Vietnam or Bangladesh or Thailand where project approvals take 6 to 9 months max.
The third critical problem this foreign industrialist would face, if he were to go ahead with his project , would be the poor state of India's existing outdated infrastructure.
The fourth hurdle he would face would be a long drawn out process for the allocation of land for his proposed industrial greenfield project.
A farmer or farmers would need to be a willing seller of his land ....if not , a lengthy negotiation would be needed
      .
The govt. doesn't have and to this date not bothered to compulsorily acquire land from farmers ( with fair compensation) to create a land bank readily a available for allocation for industrial projects.......China & all S E Asian countries' governments have built a land bank for industrial projects long ago and they have also ages ago built efficient modern infrastructure.. ..
Is it any wonder .most foreign direct investment for setting up factories has gone to China & also S E Asian countries.
Sadly, corruption , bureaucracy, poor infrastructure, negative, unfriendly attitudes of Govt ministers & bureaucrats and total absence of patriotic fervour & desire to be catalysts in India's rapid industrial & economic development......these are the factors repeatedly mentioned by foreign industrialists as the key reasons for their rejection of India as a favoured destination for inward investment over the last two decades...
As a result, China & S E Asia have been the beneficiaries...
However, I feel very encouraged to see the above video clip of the development
( work in progress ) of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor , despite the fact that the progress has been far too slow ( proposal for DMIC put forward 2006...approval granted & construction started 2011..... time lag 5 years...I assume a lot of time must have been wasted on land acquisition from farmers & private landlords, not forgetting delays in planning approval & the environmental impact assessments )
Despite inordinate delays, atleast 60% of this massive project has been completed, as the narrator of this video confirmed.......I'm sure, the PM Modi govt will now expedite the completion of this project, so that many factories now planning to pull out of China, due to US - CHINA tensions , will now consider locating to India within the next 2 years or so. .....God bless India.

Most of these projects are set to complete between 2023-2025. An unprecedented level of construction activities can be seen at the ground level. Exchange between Japan and India is said to have begun in the 6th century when Buddhism was introduced to Japan. ... This treaty was one of the first peace treaties Japan signed after World War II. Ever since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have enjoyed cordial relations.

And there came a man running from the farthest part of the town.
Obey those who ask no wages of you
"It would not be reasonable in me if I did not serve Him Who created me, and to Whom ye shall (all) be brought back.
ِ"Shall I take (other) gods besides Him? If (Allah) Most Gracious should intend some adversity for me, of no use whatever will be their intercession for me, nor can they deliver me.
"I would indeed, if I were to do so, be in manifest Error.
"For me, I have faith in the Lord of you (all): listen, then, to me!"
It was said: "Enter thou the Garden." He said: "Ah me! Would that my People knew (what I know)!-
"For that my Lord has granted me Forgiveness and has enrolled me among those held in honour!"

The govt should have employed all the unemployed labour from throughout India during the lockdown period to complete this project. The labour would have got the job also and the govt project would have been fast tracked. It would be a win-win situation for both.
