China’s $580BN New City “Xiong’an”

  • China is building a $580 billion USD city of the future south of Beijing. Named Xiong’an, the city will help alleviate pressure from Beijing by absorbing its non-essential capital functions. Designed as a green, smart city, it will also hopefully fuel innovation and improve the quality of life of Chinese citizens. The city will cover over 1,000 square kilometers of land in Rongcheng, Xiong and Anxin counties. Eventually, it is hoped Xiong’an will add 298 billion dollars to the region’s GDP and host 1.5 million people. Since construction started in 2017, the project has progressed significantly. A train station, huge neighborhood, schools, and business/citizen service centers are all finished. Many other projects are underway or in planning. In the future, Xiong’an will certainly rise from the rural farmland of northern China. Whether it will succeed and become a world-class smart city, we will just have to wait and see.

Another copy of China and, this time from the Philippine New Clark City and Solar City where there are large space between buildings, lots of greeneries and buildings of limited height. It wasn’t long ago when China was just copying North American 20th century cities during the 1980s-2010s. That’s why you see a lot of skyscrapers with very little spacing in between. Now China is back again copying someone else- this time the Filipino architects. And of course to obtain new space for the Chinese city, they had to forcefully evict citizens living in those areas. The CCP is so dumb, they’re relegated to copying. Poor China!

Without subway and tramway lines, I don't see Xiong'An New Area alleviating congestion. Mainland cities don't use tramways as means of transportation; only Qianmen 前门 street in Beijing uses a tram, but for touristic purposes. If Xiong'An had both tramways and subway lines, then I would belive congestion will be taken care of.

US overthrow first Europian country Yugoslavia then started with middle East and Africa: Lybia, Sudan, Iraq, Yemen, Mali and try to overthrow Syria and failed but as a result of US proxy war on Syria country infrastructure end up totally destroyed and if there was no for Russias intervention Syria Would be today 👹🐍US puppet/banana Republic. What's US planning presently?? To contain Russia and CHINA!! That will end US 👏existance as we know (hopefully soon as possible). China is Not Iraq or Yugoslavia nor is Russia.
