I'm an Englishman. And for me, Maradonna is one of the greatest players of the game we invented. . Greater than Pele in my own opnion. Frankly, Maradona is untouchable in the modern game. The goal he scored against England is recognised by the MAJORITY OF ENGLISHMEN as one of the best goals in the televised game. That goal was sublime, skillful and out of this world. Well done Maradonna! Englishmen give RESPECT where respect is due. It was a pleasure to witness despite being on the receiving end!! You took OUR GAME to a whole new level!!

Diego wasn't the tallest players but he had huge personality , he was a warrior and he has physically tough too. In his time defenders were brutes, most knew the only knew the best way to stop you wat to injure you . Armando was the man a nation and club looked up to . no one currently playing a has the skills , talent and the heart he had. His once in generation player. he was godlike.

El mejor de la historia para mí, único. Capaz de hacer que jugadores profesionales dejen el entrenamiento solo para mirar lo que hacía con la pelota. No tenía ni un toque de más, era elegante por naturaleza. Siempre parecía tener 2 segundos más que sus rivales. Pique corto asesino y zurda endiablada. In my opinion this is the greatest footballer of our time.

His physique is more the traditional footballer one, like Pelé, Rooney or Gerd Muller than todays athletic machines; broad, strong, low centre of gravity hence his movenent and seemingly he was made of indiarubber and bounced right back up despite defenders trying to kick lumps out of him. His change of pace and acceleration made him a tough player to defend.
Again, your vision and appreciation is exemplary and a pleasure to watch; pretty articulate too, nice range of vocabulary.
