I watched this whole thing hoping to see it at the strip. But I got a paper towel ad.

This old fart will never drag it or even rip on it. How many people you see that age driving fast. Pointless ass build that will never get used and then sold because he doesn't give a shit.
@@springwoodslasher79 how da fuck you know? He said he was so that's good enough, if you think any different go in build you a car to race on the strip. Sounds like you a jealous ass hater.

That oil pan tap setup looks like it was designed at 4:30pm on a Friday 😥😥😥
Rhubarb Pie they didn’t even take the oil pan off
@@andytommykeddy3224 "yo dawg, we heard you like metal chips in your engine"
I really hope they took that pan off unless they want him back for a engine rebuild when it blows up 😂😂😂
@@beany1987 shit, that ought to get a repeat visit
The inexperience is apparent in these comments. It’s a stamped steel pan, they used a punch specifically for this reason. Also makes its own bung to cut threads in with the displaced metal. Notice the grease on the tap? That’s to contain any small chips. This is a new engine and already has metal in the oil, the few odd chips that may have gotten in there are not gonna make a difference.
Nothing says “I woke up too early on the weekend” like this show.
15:55 the owner pointing to the excessive white smoke coming out of his car
Oil or rings are fcked. Burned a piston
probably just burning out the oil on the exhaust that keeps it from rusting during shipping
That’s tire smoke
@@sstevocamaro how did they not catch all of the tires spinning on the dyno talk? Lol
@@robinesavage404 Eh? They torqued the car down more and added extra weight to the trunk because of the tires spinning during the dyno talk. That wasn't enough to completely stop the tires from spinning, as we see tire smoke on the last run, too.
Today on horsepower t.v we see what happens when you drop 12 grand into a brand new car
True
Why would you wanna watch a someome put $500 into a piece of shit?
December's Very Own you ever watch boosted Bois? I love watching all their cheap projects and shit, eBay turbos, etc.. I think cheap build videos are just as much fun to watch as expensive ass full builds my guy
To be fair, these car projects, by and large, are not for shade tree mechanics but for people with a lot of $$$ in the bank.
Not a bad return on investment tbh 12 k and you double ( at least) your HP. A new mustang GT is like 30 -40k depending on options and if you add a $12k twin turbo kit you pretty much get a 800whp monster for roughly $50k that can pretty much smoke anything in it's class. I know it's a huge cost upfront but damn if you don't get results.
Wish that was my grand dad 😂😂😂
remember the good old days when you could be satisfied with a naturally aspirated engine and a few bolt-ons? now youre just gonna get smoked by some old geezer with too much money and too many engines to blow.
Those were the days. 🙊
Its called pay to win
I'm still happy with my n/a engine with only boltons!!
It’s still 100 hp less than the blue one.
You’re right I like the boss better
I dynoed my stock 2018 A10 Mustang in Nashville in June and made 422 wheel hp. That's a huge increased from the 15-17 Gen 2 Coyote.
CrimsonStang What make of Dyno? That is very impressive especially with an auto.
Very happy Dyno...
Ford has been known to underrate cars hp ratings occasionally, they did that with the Terminator Cobra. Congrats on those numbers!
Lmao.. Love the part were the owners sees all the smoke pouring out the back and points but the guys just ignore him..
its tyre smoke not exhaust smoke dude
too much power,tires were spinning.
few videos impress me, but this one is on another level, excellent job
I would have kept the blue BOSS 302.... that's just me.
Agreed! The 302 is a destined classic.
Theyre cool and the second best s197 after the 2013 gt500 but the S550 looks ten times better being wider and lower and no ugly retro.
@@sergeysmelnik an S550 looks like a slightly retarded Ford Focus... Catfishesque, LMAO!!

Lol I like the old guy wanting to still have fun in life. Living life everyday like it's his last.👍
I don't know if there are any Donut Media fans here but the moment he says "Most Power" at 4:34, I literally went "MO POWA BABEH!".
I'll be on my way now.
Ashwath Nair yep
Wait you drilled and tapped an oil pan with out removing it from the car? I hole this old guy doesn't get metal shavings in his engine.
IKR
The oil pan is plastic
@@toddfrasco6569 Did you watch the video where they hammered a tool through the sheet metal pan?
Please don't hole the old guy, lol
Joe Figueroa What about when they cut the thread?
That X pipe is friggin sick. Actually all the hot side looks great.
I’m laughing that the old man sold his boss to “upgrade” to a 15. Literally laughing out loud.
Me to man
Yeah my guess was he wanted to get an auto car, instead of keeping the boss with its stick.
The 15 has better handling and he may have wanted an auto. Also personal, preference but o like the s550 body a lot better (but the grabber blue color would have made it perfect)
This engine and transmission will take this power and more. Its amazing how well engineered this platform is. The only thing that I would invest in, if I were him and its available, is converting the fuel system to run e-85 for that extra safety measure and upgrade the oil pump gears.
I love my 2017 Mustang GT custom Whipple. It was so easy to hit 700+ whp. And the most fun I’ve ever had building a car!! Looking forward to my next TT project in F-150 Coyote form.
Will Jeff don’t forget to replace the oil pump gears
El_De_La_Lobo did it on my mustang, and do it on my F150. The F-150 will get the Mustang coyote upgraded pump housing along with the thicker gears. Thanks for the recommend:)
That old man is cool as hell 👊🏾
Running around docile with chrome drag wheels and drag radials. Really docile looking 👌 .
Beautiful engineering from Hellion
Who runs 42 psi in drag radials anyway?😂
Wtf right, 38 psi also.... I would put 25psi and work my way down to the sweet spot
bdpa kaknox not boost, tire pressure. 42psi. Try running about 24 and see what happens.
Right like they gonna spin bad at launch like at least run 20 psi and work down to the sweet spot but damn 42 psi in drag radials like smh0
@@PiperFishing Read first.
Because the lower you go on tire pressure the lower the dyno is going to read.. best thing is a straight up none drag radial with high tire pressure to get good dyno numbers .. an easy way to prove this if you don’t believe me is go dyno your car with a regular radial tire at 45 psi .. then toss on some drag Radials at about 25psi and let me know what the difference is .. my car made about 40 less rwhp with drag radials at low pressure. 😪😪
Highly, highly, highly impressive! 🤯
Great install and killer power!! Drag radials aren’t for the dyno! I think MT actually voids warranty if you do use on dyno
Just put a whipple on it and get rid of all that spaghetti
Ol Yeller is a BEAST!!!!
AMAZING
Does he truly have the will to use it?
That x pipe off the turbo is nasty!
not going to clean the metal shavings out of the oil pan ..?!?!?!? REALLY?!?!?!? come on guys your better then that
they dont show everything they do as time wont allow,or it would be like 5 parts to this.
Probably has a magnetic drain plug 🤷🏻♂️
idiotfuck, this is common to every single bolt on turbo and supercharger install.ist, see the grease? also, look up rollform tapping dumbass
it will not only launch “this pony” through the roof but also into the crowds 😎 but all jokes aside thats a beautiful turbo kit

I gave a thumbs up simply because of the cool old guy!
I like how he said he sold the boss to get a 15’ base model. Should’ve kept the boss.
Faster to hit crowds at cars and coffee
That technique of using a punch to avoid shrapnel in the pan seems pretty clever, much easier than pulling the pan.
Wonder how they hold
Is changing the thermostat necessary with the power increase here?
I forgot my pen, can I borrow one from that Office Depot on your shirt?
no then he’ll only have 14 left
💪🏽she rips bro
You guys are making cars to have 800hp like a cake.. I am trying to make 2hp and its been a havoc life for me..
That boss was so much better then the banana and faster. Old man lost his marbles.
Too bad in 2019 no young "kids" can afford anything remotely fast. So have fun racing against nobody but yourself.
Or the fact that that if you're wanting to be fast you gotta run below a 10 second pass... I miss the days that a 12-13 second was considered a fast Street demon.
Kenshin Himura I don't know ford sold 127,000 mustang's in 2017 globally so someone buying them. The haven't seen a sell of any car like that since the 1984 Pontiac Fiero at 135,000..
@@Thelongmanable still makes it only 1 mustang in every 2,674 people in america at the 86,000 US sales. then you have to figure the number that were v8 and not the ricer i4 or wifeys v6
True but Mustang is the only muscle car to ever achieve such a feet.
@YOYO MA where do you live lol, A bunch of younger guys got em where im from.
All on a stock engine? Pretty impressive
Love these shows
Steeda wheel hop elemination kit will stiffen up that independent rear differential.. More power to the road on that 2015 Mustang
Can the 20 weight oil handle that power? How long?
What size stock rims and tires were on that yellow mustang? They looked nice
I wonder how much does this preparation cost in parts and labor, my bet is well north of 10k. I also wonder how much is that stock engine going to last now.
Personally , I liked the way they did the oil pan taps. The only metal lost would be a tiny amount from thread cutting which would settle to the bottom and be collected by the drain plug magnet. If any happened to go through the system , it would be caught by the filter. In my opinion , much less chance of problems than pulling the pan and welding on fittings. I think many of the commenters missed the fact that the drill bit didn't go all the way through , but only close enough for the punch to finish making the hole and leave a good base for cutting threads.
Good point. Yea I was like oh no when they were drilling but then noticed they didn't go all the way through
I love that blue Boss.
Old man has more money to spend than he knows what to do with.
Well, when you "can't get it up anymore", I'm sure it frees up a lotta finances.
Hey. Get an education. Find a good job. Work hard. Be fiscally responsible. Then you too can afford nice things.
Ya make it sound like that is a bad thing or that he shouldnt be allowed to. Anyone can do that if ya have a good job or career.
Or just great credit.
Jealous?
Anyone know what all the holes are for around the inlet of the turbo, some kind of bypass?
I believe it's just for airflow
I love the coyote, i had a 2012 GT. I know the newer gen 5.0s have stinger rods and cranks, but still how long will it take that boost?
Rods and Cranks are rarely the cause of failure for these engines... it’s other surrounding miscellaneous parts that go that bring the destruction of the engine
My neighbor owns Circle D transmission. Pretty cool.
Did Bassani stop making catbacks? I used to have one on my 98 Cobra over 10 years ago
Is it bad that I wanted to watch this so much, i watched in the shower? Car guy life LOL
Valve float hear we come, yeehaw! Look at the turbo charge pipe going in to the throttle body man that thing is gonna pop off, no need for a blow off valve. Wheel hop city.
Lmao
how you knw you seen somebody with this set up??? all cars are not the same. just because you seen a 2011 do that dont mean this 2015 will
You don't need a car like that to beat kids at the dragstrip, you tree em while they are playing with their phone at the starting line!!!
Pretty cool that they made an Ecoboost V8 here!
I'm kinda partial to this mustang, except I chose a windscreen for my boost!
hell yeah cool old timer
Please. Tell me the Colour of the wheels from the red one
chrome lol
Are we to assume that all of the internal components are rated for this type of abuse? I have no doubt it can handle it for a little while but will wear out very quickly.
AS long as heat doesn't get to high it should be fine but I doubt he is daily driven it...
It will blow up...should have a lower static compression.
Buff Barnaby *_LOWER STATIC COMPRESSION EQUAL LOWER HP AND DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT THROWS MONEY AWAY!!!!!_*
I done this with a 2v and made 725rwhp. The engine internals literally fell apart. Oh, not the mention the transmission granaded. After I rebuilt everything and had it all back together I had spent 65K.
True story
Burrell1 *_Sounds like your driving had more to do with it.._*
nice build and car too for an automatic not bad
what you mean for an automatic not bad?? they out do manuals all day. the new trans are tuned and run by computer a manual cant touch them. there is a video of 2 zr1s racing auto vs manual, auto left him by links
Awesome guys well done, now he has to drive around with 250lbs of extra weight in the trunk to get that 800HP.
I like the boss 302!
I don’t really know how turbos work, but why not install long tube headers with the turbos? Is there a reason for that?
fitment issues
So at 7:45 hellion says that design is important, symmetry... If that's the case wth happened on the SRT8 Challenger???
they put the kits on it dynoed it and that was it
How can I get my truck in for performance upgrades on a chevy LS3 6.2
Swap in a Coyote.
Do you make a kit for the 2020 yet?
*_THAT COULD HANDLE 20PLUS PSI... NICE JOB SAND BAGGING!!!!_*
Albuquerque Represent!
I couldn't believe my ears when Mike said the Mustang had 20% parasitic loss, but I figured it out, ..they're engine builders, not mathematicians. Mustang parasitic loss: (RWHP 363) / (BHP 435) = 16.552%
its not how much hp but how long you can drive it before it breaks
Why not use the Mickey Thompson sportsman radial on the front since they used a radial in the back
You guys are based out of Franklin??
Wooo Burque!
I would be more concerned with the stock rods that are @ 12:1 compression, being able to handle all that stress. The oil pump gears usually fail due to higher RPM, over 7000 is too much for a stock oil pump, stay under 7 grand and you are relatively safe. also they didn't put any oil catchers on the pcv lines, tuning will suffer from all that blow by oil it can also cause cylinder detonation.
Why didn't they wrap the turbos?
Awsome!!!!
What was the cost of all those upgrades?
trbo kit is 8=10k exhaust is 2k
cool
did the # pnsearch
So many “pros” and critics in the comments....smh.
So they spent $12,000 (roughly) in parts? Can you get the same performance if you would of paid $12,000 more for a new one? (Whatever the next higher model is?)
Oil pump gears?
I give it one pass before the gears disappear lol
and LS7's drop valves on stock motors, hellcats burn oil and breaking rocker arms...
As long as you stay off the rev limiter the oil pump gears will live.. but I totally agree they definitely need upgraded .😎👍🏻
ivan bengtson We are all fully aware of other manufacturers issues but they are working on a 5.0 that is notorious for breaking oil pump gears when 700 plus hp is pulled through them.
As amazing as I'm sure that engine must be. If we're all honest, that engine is not long for this world. But that's the fun of it I guess.
One day I’ll twin my 15’ coyote. For now I’ll be naturally aspirated and save up lol
Congrats on boosting your stang
20k plus install?
That old man probably drives below the speed limit on the interstate
Is this stock internals?
So you're saying a 5.0 Ford motor pushed more hp stock then a 6.1 Mopar on 5psi?
man i hope im that badass when im old lol
Imagine doing a turbo on your dodge to 20 more
Horsepower then a dead stock 5.0 😂
Math isn’t your strong suit🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️. You might want to use a calculator and try again.
I heard the Achille heal for the 5.0 engine is it’s piston rods.
Gotta have balls to tap and drill into the oil pan without removing it lol 😂
Maybe that's why all the white smoke
Where’s the drag video?
72 hp loss, I have driven cars with less than 72 hp.
My 61 VW was 36HP...drove it to college.
You beast...
my Opel Corsa has 90hp. But this is Spain, driving around a 5.0 V8 would cost a fortune in gas. Gas is cheap in america, so automakers don't bother squeezing horsepower from small engines.
Did anyone else notice @ 7:36, when he mounts the turbo, it is touching a coolant tube or some rubber tubing? Wonder why that was not wrapped or replaced with different tubing?
they dont show all they do or this would be 5 parts long
Stock bottom end?
Damn right!
I want this in Germany! How much it costs?
