I ran across a similar list that did super well in Japan. And love playing it. Not as much as GreninjaEX. Which I think is super slept on. Super slept on. But I do enjoy GarchompEX.
I run Garchomp ex and Greninja ex together
I feel the two together is unnecessarily clunky since they are both stage two vying for the same resources to get started
@@xero18 its actually really good. The Garchomp is a free pivot, both require just one energy to attack and can two shot most mons. Also, the Garchomp accelerates the fighting energy to Greninja so it can use mirage barrage. Then switch to Garchomp to accelerate the energy again to greninja and Garchomp usually gets knocked out Greninja comes back up for a second mirage barrage. I also run legacy energy since it works with both and helps with the prize trade

Did you essentially cut the Pidgeot for Greninja ?
For a while i thought Okidogi was the perfect user of Crisis punch, but I struggled with how to accelerate energy to it, until now.

Have you tried boomerang energy to reuse sonic dive for one energy?
I feel like you could have used collapsed stadium on the Bolt in order to cripple them of a support or attacker, but yeah that matchup looks rough!
I play Greninja ex, and I add a secondary attacker like Palkia/Luxray in order to pick up KOs easier. Pokemon league headquarters or jamming tower are also good for this matchup.

Could you try making a deck with Hisuian Sammoraut with Xatu?
You can also use the single prize garchomp with sonic slip
Okidogo and Garchomp ex is good combo

I recomend adding a penny to Loop de dogis
I think Koraidon ex is still incredibly useful for this deck, need some way to nuke big damage at some point because 2hko is not always reliable

Copperaja ex with Munkidori's. Copperraja does the big hit, damages the Munkidori's who then offload it all..
Day 97! Okidogi is one of my favorite cards from the set, and legacy is such an under explored ace spec.

I absolutely crushed a raging bolt deck earlier. They use tons of ex. So it was a Golisopod mimikyu deck with boomerang energy. Try it out!

Why does legacy energy work as dark AND ground energy in the case of okidogi? There are only two energy attached but I thought the legacy would work as the dark energy, not both
Because of the text on the card. It reads "it provides every type of Energy but provides only 1 Energy at a time. " Meaning the legacy covers all types of energy at once, but the card doesn't register as more than 1 energy attached to the pokemon. So the card is both dark and fighting
what the other person said, legacy is everything, its dark, fighting, electric, grass, water, etc all at the same time.but only acts as 1 energy attach. so thats why it powers his attack AND his power.

Wait a minute, okedogi can get the damage buff and attack with a luminous and fighting. I thought it only counts for 1 type at a time
i thinking about this too. its wild. like this okedogi kinda good card. hope its not a bug cuz i play it in GLC. XD
I think it's because the dark energy isn't in the attack cost and the luminous energy just acts as one energy (not just one type).

The attack checks for 2 fighting and sees the rainbow as fighting, and the ability checks separately for a dark and sees the rainbow as dark😊
Interesting idea. Turn 1 going second instant stage two's. Use festival lead Swirlix or Goldeen and tm evo to evilve your basic pokemon twice on your first turn.
