In today’s video I look at more new Stellar Miracle cards that got revealed! - Hry
With Drednaw, you just put a Heroe's cape on it and keep healing it, they can't KO it
and how would you keep healing it
@@Scoitol item cards
@@Scoitol or you could use that one Supporter to return it to hand to the use Baxcaliber to accelerate energy to a new dreadnaw with a cape
@@thejankenthusiast1285 If you're talking about Turo's scenario, he discards all attached cards. If you're talking about Penny, she only works on basics. This unfortunately is not reliable enough to loop like you were talking about.
Bianca mayhaps @@user-ye3ks9vz9u
That Glass Trumpet can be pretty nutty in Blissey ex.
That salazzle with the new xerosic supporter from shrouded fable seems really insane
I could foresee Lapras being playable in a Lost Box deck. Lost Box Lapras sounds super fun
Lost box sets up it's own energy with mirage gate in late game though, which is it's main strategy. I'm planning to play the Lapras in a deck with 2 maybe 3 attacking types with gyarados ex lol
Blissey with glass trumpet would be good. Then move the energy around to what Mon you want to attack with
Could be fun to see some blissey ex blissey v decks. Who knows what nonsense will be cooked.up 😂
@@icephoenix174did blissey V not rotate?
@@VirtualSelv oh you're right! For some reason I thought it was still in the game. My bad.
You could use Munkidori with Drednaw. You could have a Drednaw in the active spot with a heroes cape on, you could heal off some damage with munkidori, and put that damage on the pokemon you want to attack and then Drednaw will do 160 damage, plus 30 from munkidori and it will then do 190!
I'm sorry, but that Lapras could be nuts with the right setup.
Super accelerate basically anything, Greninja Ex, dialga vstar, etc. This one is going to be interesting.
@@AndyD_G Dialga was my immediate thought. Could be Star Chronosing on turn 2-3 and then OHKOing pretty much everything from then on.
4 lapras and 56 energy 😂
@@shimotakanaki "That's a real nice Hero Caped Charizard you've got there. Be a shame if I one-shot it."
Fortress and reversal?
Glass Trumpet eliminates the mirage gate need for these decks and it avoids the new bench sniper then too. Kind of nice and now the stellar pokemon are looking better.
I dug and I found some cards that could be good with these new cards. Porygon-Z, Ho-oh V, Ambipom and Wyrdeer V. It's looking like we might be heading into a tier 0 format of sorts, but one in which the tier 0 deck will have enormous variation.
Lapras can be set up and used on your first turn if you go second. You can use Crispin + attach Sparkling Crystal and of course, attach from your hand the energy you got with Crispin, and suddenly your Stellar Lapras is potentially spreading many energy cards onto your Pokemon. Sounds very fun :D Excited for Stellar Crown!!
Also Hydrapple + Ogrepon sounds so fun and powerful too.
getting sparkling crystal and crispin in your starting hand without arven or any othr supporter seems hard
@@Scoitol You would have to use Town Store or Oranguru V + Lumineon V or PokeGear, seems like a lot to ask for, but not impossible.
@@Scoitolnot impossible though 🙂
Maybe we could play like 2 Lumineon and a heavy amount of town stores to find the sparkling crystal. Really interesting card, excited to see how it pans out
@@redrazor7903 like that idea. The payoff could be really great. Imagine spreading up to ten energy or more on your first turn.
Yooo thanks for signing my playmat in Indianapolis and putting how much you loved zard
Briar could potentially get you 4-5 PRIZES with Dragapult EX depending on the matchup, which is INSANE. Briar w/ Counter Catcher will be a deadly combo. Better prepare your Turo or else.
Briar only works if your opponent has exactly two prize cards, though, so even though that’s true it wouldn’t affect the game. However, it could allow dragapult or any bench sniping ex to win by hitting a one prizer on the bench. Not good news for single prize decks.
@@joshuasims5421Briar doesn't work on benched pokemon! It has to be the active.
I think dragpult now hits 2 prizer knocks out bench weak hp... Then Counter catcher rotom->briar-> finish off the 1st 2 prizer set up to KO taking 5 prizes one turn
@@amanshaji4436 Yeah, if he can take out knockouts on two 2-prizers, that would pretty much be game instantly lol.
@@joshuasims5421 YOUR OPPONENT has 2 prices left. Your remaining prize cards don't matter. You can set up for a typical four prize knockout with dragapult. You use Briar, and then take 5 prizes in one turn to win the game if you taken any before. . It certainly changes the game. You seem to be thinking of it backwards. The card allows for big comeback potential.
Saw the thumbnail and thought: "TRUMPET CATCHER!!!??"
even if people know you have briar, u force them to move to odd prizes, giving u a bit of flexibility and deterrence
Lapras could use the new ace spec, attach, energy accelerate, then be attacking turn one going second.
Set up that much energy on the board, combine that with something like Oger/Bolt and the new stadium that allows a big bench and you’re set.
Lapras is fine in a Lapras focused deck, because of the new item focused on Terastellar.
I will cook with that hydrapple and the festival cards. I mean you can still hit with the Applin festival with stadium in play and hit for 200 or get 2 KOs. While the Ogerpons are building energy in the bench for Hydrapple.
Or just skip the Dipplin and use rare candy instead for Hydrapple. I think the deck using Hydrapple would be quite different compared to the Festival Lead deck.
@@vita123abc I know the optimal way of playing it is going to be that. My point is that you can fit dipplin and festival stadium for a one prizer that hits hard.
@@ChamadzeroIt'll be a wishy washy deck without any clear purpose in my opinion. Better load up on the Ogerpons and Hydrapple line, a Greninja and Squawk, plenty of energy, energy retrieval and energy acceleration cards and Hyper Rods, bravery charms and hero's cape, and just concentrate on getting as much energy on the Ogerpons and Hydrapple to OHKO anything that might comes your way.
Hear me out... Turbo Grass (ignore your opponent Deck)
3 Hydra
3 Applin
4 Ogrepon Teal
2 Sinistcha
2 Poltchageist
4 rare candy
4 nest ball
4 ultra ball
1 masterball
4 Judge
4 Professors Research
and like 25 grass energy.... insane damage and draw real quick while sitting on a 330 HP apple... then if in the discard you can use Sinistcha
I think the idea behind lapras is to use a M, W or P deck and splash this in with the crystal shard, turn one bench a bunch of pokemon and manual attach to lapras, turn 3 use arven to find sparkling cyrstal and do the second attack to mass attach and deck thin, this way you should have almost every thing set up for the rest of the game by turn 5 and can just start swinging from that point onward.
I think drednaw could be a fun rogue deck/control deck depending on the format.
The really good thing about Briar is that even if you know about it, playing around it amounts to forcing yourself to play a 7-prize game in many cases.
Briar can be countered if you only target single prize pokemon then attack a double prized one, or if there is an ability/effect that can prevent your opponent to use a support during their turn.
Glass trumpet might be the patch item after the entire sword and shield era is out of comission.
Briar looks good for pult as with putting damage counters it could take 3 or 4 prizes a turn
Briar only works when doing damage to the opponent’s active when you have two prizes remaining
Forcing ur opponent to boss and take single prizer offtrades the prize trade which is good for 2 prize attacking decks
@@RealmsTCGit is when the opponent has two prizes remaining. I think the play would be pult doing 200 to the Active and knockout getting an extra prize while taking out a bench Mon. So could be a three or four prize turn. Seems like a good card for pult tbh
@@RealmsTCG reading is hard huh? says when your opponent has 2 prize cards remaining
U can use blissey for trumpet and its ability lets u move them immediatlly. Idk what tera to play with that sorta engine yet tho.
i think you play terapagos there its very flexible
If you play Briar in your deck, the better thing would be to evolve all your pokemon to stage 2 as fast you can, so that Briar can always be able to be use, unless opponent can take extra prizes with hands or snipe a 1 prizer before you evolve into your stage 2´s
lapras ex in a dialga vstar deck with neo upper energy was my first thought for quick acceleration, though there are definitely quicker and more reliable ways to do it.
The stellar cards look so sick tho…
Festival Lead Dipplin with Ogerpon is PERFECT with Hydrapple
STOP saying stage twos arw bad
Look at all the stage 2's in the format..zard, Gardevoir ex, Greninja ex, dragonpult ex, incineroar ex, Blastoise ex, Alakazam ex, feraligator, etc .
They are great because most basics are not as good as they used to be.
They have been nerfed. Thank God..
The format is slower.. finally.
For real. Stage 2 Pokemon have been kicking a lot of butt lately. It's time for that to be recognized.
Incineroar especially. Ny brother has been playing that deck and having a lot of fun with it
@@gabriellondon5882 ik going to build it IRL . now..I've tested it enough on live.
Friendly reminder that Miraidon is still good :D
gardevoir isnt really the attacking pokemon in that deck. its baby basic pokemon
I presume Archaludon is for Colorless decks like Terapagos that use Metal energy as their Basic Energy of choice. You can Trumpet Metal Energy and have free retreat.
That's not a bad idea, since it goes very well with Adaman.
Archualdon free retreat, metang for acceleration on to iron hands. Frees up the tool to then use max belt or heroes cape.
Could be troublesome
Lugia is allegedly getting a basic ex so yeah, stoked. Hope it’s good because that trumpet would be sweet with it
melmetal vmax is insane right now with metang and max belt, ohkos dragapults and charizards
Imagine your board state is 2 prizes remaining for your opponent and you have all 6 left. Only poke you have is zard ex. You play briar and knock out a two prizer. Three prizes. They cant KO your zard. You play briar again and take another three prizes. Sounds like an insane card. It probably wont come up much but i teel like people will have to play around it just in case now.
Trumpet plus crispin and you can easily use the 2nd attack turn1.
How are you possibly powering up the Lapras early? Thing is wild though 😂
Damn. My most played right now is fetsival and i was really hoping the hydrapple would be splashable in it 😔.
It's kinda a stretch idea but glass trumpet blissey ex as an energy acceleration for reggidrago vstar? Kinda goes hard, with the extra discard options being energy for digging thru ur deck. Even throw in the lapras if you wanted
You'd still need to play a Terra Pokémon to use Glass Trumpet
@@GreenMonkeySam thats why you throw in lapras ex as well.
or even make it an amalga deck with dragapult ex so you have some type of search engine with drakloak
@@manuelvasquez2432 Okay, but then you're playing so many off-strategy cards to make a janky engine. I don't think it's worth it at that point.
@@GreenMonkeySam regidrago as a whole is an awkward card to make a deck out of. All different types of regidrago decks look janky on paper until they're shown to work. Also If a card in the deck, then it wouldn't be off strategy then, right? That's why it's in the deck, bcuz it would have a purpose
Lapras with glass trumpet could charge up reggidrago vstar. 😂😂🤷♂️ you said to tell you ideas for lapras at the end there
Hydrapple Iron leaves teal mask wo chein and toedscruel. The reign of Charizard and roaring moon is so over.
Ok, well at least you have to use dte for Terapagos, thats a good re- aaand they printed megaturbo
6:12 zoroark come back lol
Lapras honestly looks pretty sick!
Dang LDF you fast
Dreadnaw with hero's cape .
might be impossible to one shot.
Most decks run canceling cologne that's one downside
@ChrisBeverly I've only seen cancelling cologne being consistently ran by Chien Pao decks that want to break through manaphy or mimikyu. The other one-shot decks that do 200+ damage, like ogerpon raging bolt, doesn't. And even if they do, cologne is almost always played as a single copy. And since dreadnaw is a stage 1 single-prizer, sacking one and promoting another won't be that punishing. Just play Roxanne's backup and townstore if you want to rely on the hero's cape strategy.
Use luxury cloak instead don’t waste the ace spec
Looks like some old decks might rise up to the top with these cards
Briar is definitely broken in Charizard, before its release they wanted to be on even prizes to avoid the 330 turn. Now they have to pick their poison between the 330 turn or potential Briar
Lapras ex would fit decently well in a lost box
Briar could actually be insane on anything that damages multiple pokemon. The biggest one in my head seems like greninja ex. You're at four prizes. Your opponent just knocked out a greninja, going to two prizes. Then you just play Briar and mirage barrage benchsnipe two single prizers and win the game.
You only get an extra prize for knocking out the active. You could get Briar to proc twice with Dipplin’s double attack.
It also only works when your opponent has 2 prizes left
@@jmmeye3 Briar only works if your active TERA pokemon takes a KO which Dipplin is not
@@RealmsTCG im not sure how that equates to this? yes we understand that the opponent needs 2 prize cards. thats not our prize cards
what should happen is you hit for the 170 one turn. next turn hit with mirrage barrage, finish the attacking pokemon with 120 then with the other 120 finihs off a weakened ex pokemon on the bench. thats 5 prizes
Lapras seems too good.
Was just looking for this video
Lapras was my favorite ex when it was first leaked. All these new stellar exs can be powered up using the regi+area zero underdepths combo
I think the Regi combo is just a gimmick. Glass Trumpet will be enough.
@@GreenMonkeySam glass trumpet only works for colorless mons
@@piplup2884 I think all of the Stellar ex cards will be Colourless. It was the gimmick of the Stellar type.
@@GreenMonkeySam no they are the same type as the pokemons base type. lapras itself is a stellar terra
@@piplup2884 I think you may be confusing Terra types and the Stellar type. Pokémon can be _any_ Terra type. Stellar type only happens when you Terastallize; and Stellar type moves are only strong against Terra Pokémon. So to reflect that, I think they'll make all the Stellar Pokémon Colourless with multi-type Energy attack costs (like Dragons get).
Could we see Lapras Ho-Oh EX??? One of my favorite Mons playable.
So if regidrago copies the attack of Dragapult can they use Briar?
No, you need a Terra Pokémon in your active
But it says damage from the attack of a terra Pokemon attack. If regidrago copies the attack it should work.
@@killbeames The Pokémon attacking is not a Terra Pokémon, it is _using_ the attack of a Terra from the discard as it's own attack.
Ultra ball, discard basic energy, trumpet 2 basics onto lapras.
You have to attach the two energy to two different Pokémon
Lapras isn’t colorless
Still no Ceruledge ex :(
finally my favorite type is getting support lolol
Oh God my wife is going to lose her mind when she sees that Lapras. She loves lapras
I think most ppl do 😁
Turbo miridon with mewtwo ex and electric generator and glass trumpet the beach court build. The same deck except of fluffy your using glass trumpet 🙃 think about you still have raichu v and iron hands ex is much faster now 😎
Glass Trumpet only works with Colorless cards, unfortunately.
Briar is only good for making a single prize card into a 2 prize card I really doubt its going to be that good it seems extremely situational which puts it use to very limited
actually it puts a double prize card as a triple. your openent needs to have 2 prize cards. it doesnt say how many you need. you could have 3 prize cards left. activate briar and take the 3 prize card from killing an active ex card
Oger pan water gains a lot from briar
Briar = sky seal stone.. but better ! 🤩🤩🤩
the power creep is creeping in…
Lugia theoretically can play the trumpet with the Wellspring ogerpon.
About time they made a Pokemon that punishes power creep
The turtle is basically the OG mr mime's barrier from base set.
I WILL play this turtle.. and find cards that help you take less damage..and spread damage maybe.
And you can put a Cape to fuck the math of raging bolt and chien to guarantee a 2hko lol
@@Chamadzero I was wondering if that would be a good idea.
Dreadnaw + Hero's Cape + Some number of Munkidori = Profit? Lul
Luxurious cloak is better for it since it’s objective is to not die anyhow
@@sullentamp9140 Well yeah, you could play both honestly. That was just the first one that popped into my head. Maybe even play some kind of healing items in case they hit like... 120+ or so and all your Munkidori + Radiant Tsareena can't quite full heal it. Guess you could do Turo's Scenario. Could also do Scoop Up Cyclone for the ace spec. We might be cooking lol.
Could do 4 of the fire oricorio, and rad tsareena etc
@@sullentamp9140 Maaaaaybe. The Oricorio doesn't heal as much as Munkidori, let alone Munki's damage too.
Not sure if I'm missing something on Briar, but since you can only use it when your opponent has EXACTLY 2 prize cards remaining, the only benefit is being able to win when they push up a single prizer into the active because you can then use Briar to take the extra prize to win. Seen a few comments talking about being able to use it to take 3 or more prizes and that doesn't seem possible the way the description is worded unless the translation on it is incorrect.
Your opponent has 2 prize cards remaining. You can have any number of prize cards remaining and the card still works. Say you have 3 prize cards remaining, your opponent has 2, You use Briar to knockout their active ex (two-prizer) and you take an extra prize card because of briar, you take your 3 remaining prize cards and win the game. Does that make sense?
I find it funny how the people who seem to be reading it backwards keep saying when your opponent has exactly 2 prize cards remaining as if you that changes how many prize cards you have lol. Think about what you're saying a little longer.
Zoroark Vstar and grass trumpet anyone or am I coping🥲🥲
Zoroark doesn't really need Energy acceleration, plus you have to now play a Terra Pokémon too
🤩
Hi
Zard is dead this format
1st! Lots of love LDF
Crazy how much Pokemon has been copying IRL lately that isn't Pokemon related.
What are you talking about?
How is Briar that insanely good? You can only activate it once your opponent has exactly 2 Prices.
Meaning that it will mostly be used to kill a single prizer to end a game which is a lot more niche, since it also takes the Supporter spot (at which point something like Boss Order might be more flexible and valuable).
Dragapult will have to kill an "Active" 1 prizer for this to work, it can't be a benched Pokemon for the bonus. This works better for Dragapult since 200 should be plenty for a 1 prizer but not for a 2 prizer. Ofc you will also need to have their 1 prizer out, meaning that you are either at 1 prize (Counter Catcher) or have Prime Catcher. So even the it's a lot more niche in use.
Charizard Ex by that point of the game should already hit enough to ohko any 2 prizer anyway, so a Boss Order might be more valuable than a Briar.
This is to consider that you will either need to be at 1 price to use Counter Catcher, or to be using Prime Catcher to get the 1 prizer out of the bench.
I think you're a bit mixed up. If your opponent is at 2 prizes you can be at 3, 4, 5, or 6 prizes to have Counter Catcher active. Also why not use it to have Charizard ex take 3 prizes in one turn by KOing a 2-prizer?
@@vadersnemesis You are absolutely right, I completely mixed up the Prizing advantage/disadvantage.
It is a tremendous boost indeed, you can effectively get 4 prizes in one turn with a Dragapult and catch up easier with Charizard should you fall behind.
Haven't watched yet, if these cards are any better than terapagos the meta is cooked
Edit: See you lot in a couple years
