#PaulWeller #WildWood #reaction - Zábava
One of my favourite artists , his solo stuff is often brilliant , and never bad. Then add in his time in The Jam and The Style Council and you have someone who inspired a lot of bands , especially Britpop and indie bands in the UK . Cool reaction
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Paul Weller. You'll never want to leave it. Your next Weller reaction should be "The Changingman" and "Blink or You'll Miss It" from his solo material, "My Ever Changing Moods" (piano version) from his days with the Style Council (socialism with soul), and from his first band The Jam, "Man in the Corner Shop", "The Eton Rifles" and "Running on the Spot". Three cheers for the Modfather!
Paul Weller is brilliant, so talented.
Love this song ❤
One of England's best. 50 years what a legend.
This song is perfection
The Modfather, still as cool as ever even at 60 I think he is now. This is one of my favourite tracks from him. I love his solo work but with the Jam and Style Council he was great. I'm a Brit living in Australia, he came over here to tour, all the Brits turned up, they know who he is and how good he is. Thanks for listening to this.
You're totally hit it! It's about finding a way in (and out) the "wild wood' (our society). Waiting for dreams to come true, waiting for 'the way out', deserving more than the day-to-day-life. That society 'drags' you with it in the we-must-do-this-and-that stream.
And, hopefully, finding a way out.
Paul Weller is a British, wellknown for bands like The Jam (seventies) and The Style Council (eighties).
Thank you so much @Highly for your reaction!!
Deep lyrics but so true. Life rushing by. Stepping out of the ratrace is not easy. But indeed life is so much more. Great comments to the song.
My uncle introduced me to Paul Weller when he lived with me and my parents back when I was about 8 or 9 and Paul was in The Jam. I remember him belting out "That's Entertainment" and "Going Underground" from his make shift bedroom (our front living room). I bought Wildwood when it first came out, my favourite album of Paul's. Certainly try "You Do Something To Me". My uncle is no longer with us but our love of Paul Weller will always be something that I'll look back on.
This is a great song by the legendary Paul Weller. There are so many for you to hear. My choice would be Down in The Tube Station At Midnight when he was in The Jam. I think you’ll like those lyrics…
when i was a DJ on the radio i always ended with this song. its amazing.
Love this song 💚
That's why I do what I do. Yes, I work, but can plan my own time, with so much freedom that I can go out and go into the world (micro adventures) and LIVE... (and of course, spent (way to much time) with my lovely Discord family 😉). 💚
Good analysis 👍
Love this one !
Try Paul’s legendary Wolverhampton gig.
Brilliant song! You should react to " Hi Ren " by Ren, it will blow your mind! 😮😅😊❤
HI Dean, I have already reacted to Hi Ren! Go check it out.
Golden rain doesn’t bring you riches
Great reaction 😊 I recommend you check out 'You do something to me' next 👍
