Great video, very useful, cheers bud. Great to see you torquing up the wheel bolts at the end. I do mine to 120nm as I do track days. Apparently the spec for the front caliper Allen key bolts are to be torqued up to 108nm 👌👍
Spot on. Yep, torquing wheels is my biggest OCD on a car.. super simple to do yet most just tighten them up until it feels “right” 🤣

The part you removed from the caliper isn't an adapter plate its basically a weight Peugeot installed on later models to help in preventing squeel I.E sod all.
Get yourself a pressure bleeder. You'll kick yourself you didn't get one sooner.

Have you noticed a ticking noise that increases/decreases (depending on how fast your going) since you have fitted the godspeed front discs?
I've also noticed it quietens down/stops the ticking noise when I apply the brakes (in my case) - presumably when the pads are making contact with the disk...
I had my discs & pads fitted about 1-2k miles ago roughly, it's still noticeable in my case.
Yeah this is a trait of any drill/slotted disc as the pad goes over the vents. 😁

I just brought the rear yellowstuff pads from godspeed, saw you couldn't fit them, are they just the wrong part?
I think the seller sent the wrong part. I haven’t tried Godspeed direct, you may have better luck!
how much does the front discs and pads cost compared to the oem?
Discs and pads from Godspeed and EBC came to around £1,000. I think OEM is just stupid high prices from Peugeot.
@@xiolage damn😂 i’ve been looking at 308 gti’s for a second car but im only 19 and can’t justify the insurance and brake costs😂 i already pay 3800 for insurance on a 2018 audi A3 as it is lol
@reece___5949 Why not go for a 208 GTi? We had one and loved it just as much! Much cheaper costs.
