Angels was my first doll and when I received her (I didn’t really know what to except) I was a bit disappointed about her facial expression. Then slowly, day by day I started to fall in love with her.. nowadays and a few Agnes later I am completely taken 💗

Agnes is my favorite sculpt ever. But her back story is extremely unrealistic. In Germaniens elite boarding schools like Salem, for example, most people aren’t royalty, they’re kids from people with all kind of backgrounds that have money. In Germany, the aristocracy is very watered down and you can basically buy a title. The house of Hannover and Sachsen Anhalt are famous for having even adopted adult self made people to give them titles, one example a man who made his money with red light district establishments and was adopted as an adult, to get the title prince. Even many old money people won’t associate with quite a few noble German houses anymore because they are low class, despite their titles and some are even known as being vulgar and appear constantly on cheap reality TV. Agnes being adopted wouldn’t have bothered anyone and it wouldn’t have made a difference, money is what is important to belong. And many old lines are not rich anymore. German aristocratic social life is very different than people might Imagine.
I hope to some day buy aristocratic Agnes and the sister moguls. Head for glamour was my first IT doll as well as first Agnes.

I’m not sure how much research Integrity Toys puts into the back stories for its dolls. I think it’s more to give an overall mood rather than for factual accuracy! Your comments would certainly bear this out. However, the beauty of these fashion dolls is that they can become whatever their owners choose. We are only limited by the power of our imaginations.
