- Beam me up, Scotty! I'm deboxing and reviewing Beyond This Planet Violaine Perrin doll who was a 2019 IFDC Exclusive by Integrity Toys. Her blonde counterpart is part of the 2018 NU Face Counter Culture Collection.
I can't get over her magical hair! Unicorn mermaid fantasy to the max! Violaine is a new character to the IT family and is using the original Vanessa 2.0 face mold. Doll designer extraordinaire Jessy Ayala brought Violaine to life and is serving us runway realness with this look. I love it all irl so much more than I thought I would. The whole color palette is pure delicisouness and reminds me a lot of the Spring 2018 Balenciaga RTW collection. So happy to add this stunner to my lineup.

I’m actually really into the Streetwear dolls...it’s something I don’t remember me having in my Barbie collection as a kid. I have the blonde variation and I actually really love her! I couldn’t figure out the sock either! 😪
COUTUREious I’m learning from other collectors here that the sock needs to go into the shoe and then slide the foot into both simultaneously. Am going to try it! 😎
FYI: That NuFace stand is slanted, so you can fit them next to another one and then the dolls can stand closer together. Almost like a double stand.

I have to be honest, I’m not feeling this doll. What I like “the lime green Top, purse , chocker, jewelry, and hair color, but that sequin jacket, and pull-apart jeans “I cant”, but what I really enjoyed “your review”,, loved it. 💜

This screening and hair color is simply gorgeous. I probably would have entered the lottery for her if her ensem was different from the original. Not crazy about the outfit, but I can appreciate the design and details. Love her BANGLES!! She will be amazing to redress! Great review love!😘

I have Violaine in the original blonde version - I love her and her fun fashion pieces, especially the coat. I couldn't justify a second one when the variant came out, but I love her hair especially. As for the socks, if you set the sock into the shoe, and then pull the sock and shoe on together, you should be able to get them both on her! Also, all of her jewelry is removable, I recommend using something pointy like a pin to help you get them off by prying under the hoops if you want to.

DOLLSERIES AND ETC. oh yes I plan to! 😬
I was able to get the socks on the doll by putting them in the boots, and then putting the socks and boots on at the same time. There is definitely a trick to it, but the boots do have a little bit of give in the fabric. I used a flatiron to get rid of the bends in the purse strap, but I protected the vinyl with a paper towel, so that the flatiron wasn't in direct contact. I didn't want the vinyl to melt or scorch.
My friend got both variations of this doll, so I'm very familiar with this one. I actually really love the streetwear dolls, I'm usually much more gaga over them than the evening gown dolls. I just think they're less timeless, more of the current moment. I love the timeless dolls too, but I also love dolls that epitomize the fashion moment that they come from.

Google her name and you'll see a list of online doll/collectible shops that may have her in stock. That's generally how Integrity Toys sells their dolls.
Those aren't actually sequins they are paillettes on her jacket. They are similar so easy to mix up. A lot of people unfortunately make that simple mistake. I have in the past myself as well.
A Rose Garden that’s a great point. I was using sequin as more of a general term since my professors in design school deemed it okay to intermix paillette, sequin and spangles unless referring to actual couture in which case we were asked to leave the classroom 😂🤣
