Feel this is a very underrated win for Diego. Looked amazing on the ground against a legit black belt in nick. 2 legends

Nick acknowledged in the post fight interview that he should’ve tried to stand up instead of continuing to look for submissions. I think he was just as surprised by Diego’s ability to defend the subs

Some great grappling this fight. Nick could've won this if he stood more though. He underestimated Diego's grappling and ability to defend against subs.
