I love these ideas! Experiencing seasons as a tropical island girl has been a huge game-changer in life manifestations. I’ve grown so much from these intentionally internal phases in my life when winter comes and I choose to self-hibernate.
I recently went on a book store date with myself the other day and it was the best boost of self-love! 🥰

I am definitely all about prioritizing a cozy home and having hearty food! During winter I constantly have a Fontana candle either lit or on the warming plate. I also loved that you started the video by talking about slowing down during this time of year. This year it was “growth” and it was just too much for me. I’ve definitely grown mentally and confronted things I had feared before.
So I want to reach my goals this upcoming year and reach the dreams I postponed. As well as have dreamy relationships, whether with friends or a potential romantic relationship.

Thanks! I really needed this. Now that I'm retired I'm finding that I really resent the darkness and cold of winter.
Right now I'm holding my breath waiting for Christmas when the days will start getting longer again.
I find that I get sleepy when the sun goes down, but when I wake in the morning I don't know if it's almost dawn or still the middle of the night.
I am taking the time to recover skills I've lost.
I've recovered the touch typing I lost over Christmas break in high school. I bought a manual typewriter since I originally learned on a manual typewriter and trying to relearn by typing on the computer just wasn't working. Now I just need to practice more and work on my typing speed.
I'm now looking at trying to get a good handle on the algebra that threw me for a loop in high school and college.
I really do love the heavy clothes and especially the layers needed for winter. Thanks for reminding me.
I am making an effort to look for more Christmas light displays because I really do enjoy the lights. Next year I plan to put up a bunch more lights around here to chase away the mid-winter darkness.

I discovered your channel this month, and I was a bit nervous at first, I was not sure I would agree with your content, but I actually really like your videos! I like me some masculine energy sometimes, but you made me realize that in some areas of my life I needed to add a bit more feminine energy to feel better. For example, you say that we can lose touch with our feminity when we are constantly consuming content and forget to connect with our own voice, and I really felt that. As you say, I think my brain is often stuck into "thinking and processing" mode, and I did not exactly knew how to go back to more spontaneity and authenticity, so I am really glad that I found your channel! I love winter. I've always romanticized it 😊🌨️❄️☃️
The Eucalyptus! I had a rat in my house last year and didn't sleep til I got rid of it- but one of the tricks I learned was to hang eucalyptus everywhere, and the smell is just great! Bonus that my tree is a baby from an old gardening client who I have fond memories of.
Another good one to hang around the house in winter is the curry plant (helichrysum), very warm smelling :)
the list is amazing 😍 but I might add as well some crafts like paint by number, diamond painting, embroidery and games like puzzles and board games etc.
My word for 2024 is "stillness". I'm always on the go and i need some stillness in my life to heal and be whole
I was just about to slide into a rut, but instead I
put on my cozy red cashmere sweater
put on a red lip
and went for a daytime walk.

You left off wool. Wool is incredible. There’s nothing like it. While it may be scratchy, you can put a layer between you and a wool blanket and get the coziest breathable warmth in existence. I have a wool blanket over my down comforter on those extra cold nights, and it’s SO MUCH BETTER than any polyester blanket. I dare you to compare.
The Winter this year disappoints me so far. Almost whole November we had snow, even though it was still Autumn, then in December we got snow too, but as soon as 22nd December hit - No snow, just rain and wind. I feel lied to by Mother Nature. Fortunately I made the most of the snow we had and I visited Christmas market in Gdańsk, we had some long nice walks, I played with my dog in snow... I hope we get more snow in January and February. Studying for winter exam session would be so much nicer with whiteness outside.

Hahaha it's funny... I moved from Poland to Mallorca,Spain because I didn't like cold and dark winters! And I really don't like wearing those winter coats, I never find nice clothes for this time season 🤣 I just feel I look better in summer time 🤣

I would love to see a video on how to navigate the difficulties in a marriage. I tend to feel that most advice on boundaries and femininity in relationships are for unmarriade girls. Beeing in a marriage with children you can not, or should not, just leave if your spouse is not treating you right or acting right in life. I really really struge finding content on that perspective and I would LOVE to see your advice on that. Love from Brazil 😊❤️
I’m not a hoodie person cuz feeling put together off sets SAD. I do have a thick, cozy wool sweater that I have lived in during the coldest days.

I do some of what she says, sweating, learning a skill, try as much as I can to have a walk during the day, and the sunrise alarm. They definitely help!!! Also, I don't think you should try to do everything. Just try ti do one thing, be consistent, and everything else will be much easier to do.
