- The Democratic Alliance has put forward its demands, requesting 12 cabinet posts from the ANC and preference in selection of Directors General. Professor Somadoda Fikeni, Chairperson of the Public Service Commission spoke to Masego Rahlaga on #AllAngles #DStv403 #QuestionThinkAct
There has been too much eating. It has to stop.
When you consider the cadre deployment of the ANC it is quite logical to want to consider the appropriate appointment of government officials.
and appoint DA-selected DGs. How is that not cadre deployment?
@@TheCalmPrince It all depends on how the appointment process is done. Right person for the right job as opposed to politically connected.
@@TheCalmPrince It is not what i am saying, please read comment carefully.
@@DavidGilmourSmith How would a DA selected DG be not politically affiliated to the DA?
@@TheCalmPrince Just 5 minutes of research - Ministers are not involved in the appointment of public servants in developmental states -
they do not sit on interview panels. This is the responsibility of an independent agency -
public service commissions in Malaysia and Mauritius, and career civil servants in countries
such as China. In Botswana, interviews are conducted by the Appointment Boards
established for each line department.
we canot have corupt ANC members investigating corupt ANC members ...
You want corrupt members of which party? Don't fool yourself into believing there non corrupt politician, or political appointees. They're all just as Corrupt. Where people meet money there's corruption.
At Parliamentary Villages,it's common for newly appointed officials to change the Beds,Curtains and Fridge as if the previous occupants stored Dog meat in it but when they stay at a Hotel the tail goes between the legs knowing fully well their Superior Complexes won't be tolerated.
Why not?
Current dg are part of the rot must go
DOES IT MEAN THE PARLIAMENT HAD TO RECONVENE JUST TO ALLOW MK's MP TO SWEAR IN? THIS IS ABUSIVE BY A NEW POLITICAL ORGANIZATION.
Enca anti mk
Why does eNCA always post negative things about the MK....
Because MK is lame
eNCA is under eMedia Holdings.
eMedia Holdings is substantially owned by Venfin.
Venfin is a subsidiary of Remgro.
Remgro is owned by Johann Rupert.
Because MK had been unethical and they don't want to hide it
Bribed
Nothing positive about them. 😅
Somadoda Fikeni used to be my favourite analyst until he became Ramaphosa's girlfriend like Solly Mapaila

Somadoda Fikeni is no longer an indepedent public intellectual but a fully fledged public servant and is dimply doing his masters bidding 🤣🤣🤣
Your channel is too bias
This channel is anti MK
Ask yourself who the channel belongs to, and then you will understand why.
It belongs to the Trade Unions!
The DA's demands disrespects South Africans, in particular blacks SANs. The matter of cadre deployment is same as saying South Africans are xenophobic. It is just an insult meant to get one's unjust way. This must not be allowed. The ANC must reverse getting into this adulterous bed with the DA.
Eish wena, the DA only wants to add insight and value to the cabinet and get rid of the stupid clowns who sit and sleep during sittings. All for a BETTER South Africa. Come alive!!
@@gertpretorius2150 Its focus and praxis over the last 30 wholly negate your claim. It has proven itself, amongst many other negatives, that it indeed 'hate South African blacks' the most. Many of your leaders have also vocalised said intimately held sentiments publicly. Lastly, your condescending attitude exposes one of the layers of that racist edifice you people use to keep black SANs deresourced.
South Africans ARE xenophobic though??? we've seen this multiple times
Stanley, there is a huge difference between SA and the ANC. You are free to defend the ANC and to disappear into oblivion with it
South Africans aren't xenophobic?
