🤣🤣🤣🤣This happened to me in Salaga Ghana.when I went to make shea butter and my friend set me up ..I did two days ...I wanted to murder him because I could have brought my camping gear ( brand new ) didn't get to use it 🤣🤣🤣
There is no getting used to it unless you were born with it. 😩
You are a good sport and you and your hubby have great sense of humor. I love you guys from Cali❤️
@@DIYHOUSEANDFARM you can do it.😂😂😂

Chew stick, those iron pots, cooking with wood 🪵,is nothing new to me growing up in Jamaica 🇯🇲 🥰
Yes ….seeing Ghana brings me right back to growing up in Jamaica
Same sis 🇯🇲!! I absolutely love this.. it makes me feel like I’m home 🥰
@@shamekabenjamin8010 For real sis, hope to go to Ghana soon to relive some of that good Ole lifestyle.
I remember chew sticks 🇯🇲💕
We can adapt...lol
Love this video. Your first experience in the village. I commend you. I'm 73 years old some of these experience I've been through in deep south. No lights no inside bathroom. Family sleeping on the floor. You did good.
Lol!🤣😂😂🥲That yellow sheet was in high demand.
😅😂🤣"Those funerals be lasting for weeks!" LOL! VM always cracks me up when he says, "You can do it!"
I remembered when I was in high school. I am from Cape Coast and during the long vacation I visited my uncle my mother's younger brother at Benso in the western region. He has hectares of cocoa farm, palm plantation, banana and rice farms. In those days that early 60s, he employed many people from the North as farm laborers. That was type of treatment I used to get from him. He said I was a spoiled boy because I from the coast and don't know how to farm. Despite, all the problems I enjoyed it. Especially, when I traveled with him to Takoradi to receive money from the bananas he exports to Europe. This brings me memories of the time. That was more than 50 years ago.
Wow!! Thanks for the share! 😄
Well, Vinman certainly looked rested upon getting up.
I died laughing when you said, "Where is my husband?" I thought he had left...LOL
You two made my day.
Omg..these episodes are hilarious. Got me longing for them to be longer. When it ends..im like awhh..man..no..no🤦. Gosh..man love you guys!
Same here....they are beautiful
All the babies are so beautiful!
Queen?! I am annoyed for you🤣 You are the epitome of patience!! You make us proud as a Melinated-Woman from the States😍
She really does have the patience of a saint. I would have started crying.😂😂😂
@@sillybrainmah5310 Right😍‼️ I probably would have been the angry black woman🤣🤣🤣

I get it, you can't just forget everything you are accustomed too.
😂it’s funny how they are having a conversation and they don’t get each other at all 😅
Hello Baby girl, I admired your strength, courage, your learning energy, your adaptation, you are a good learner, keep it up
I love it when you do a little theater for us. So creative. Real talent.
🙏💕
The unexpected events of not having your comforts of your home is understandable, but I think you will appreciate this visit...someday, it will be a sweet memory of how you really experienced village life. Life is how we adapt to our environment. Seeing how the family lives, plays, is so organic and peaceful.
For me living in village is happiness and more peaceful
You can do it !! Your in Africa now lol 😂 your Husband too funny 😅 thank you for sharing .
Iam falling more and more in liking with your videos😍🇿🇦
I grew up in the city and even the time I went to the village saw nothing like this - this is real rural village.
It tells me how privilege I am. Now live in London UK and will take a caravan there not way will I be able to sleep...I can stary up 3 days and I will leave him back home....you are a saint and angel an a very very great woman and truly love your husband....you see us that grew up in Africa that is why we do well abroad...living well is in our blood....even the food....
Oh ! 😂😁 ok...I want to say this..with ALL SINCERITY..I LOVE THE PEOPLE OF AFRICA ,BUT THE CHILDREN HAVE MY HEART...I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THE GENEROSITY AND APPRECIATION THEY HAVE FOR LIFE..SOMETHING THE CITY FOLK , SOME AMERICANS HAVE FORGOTTEN HOW TO Appreciate.
Yes, you can do it! 😂. And yes there's always that one who'll be in your biz at all times. Annoying at first, but you get used to it and just ignore. Much respect to your adaptability though. Thanks for showing the kids playing, that's the best part of their young lives, the open environment to play.
I hope everyone recognizes your production skills in putting all this together.
Girl, you did good! Regardless of the uncomfortable situation and unfamiliar circumstances... you was
humble and respectful. 👍✌❤🙏🏾🤣
Aww this reminds me of back in village when we visited we would sleep outside all night, it was nice.
And I'm sure you had an option of sleeping inside if you wanted to. It may have been fun for kids to sleep outside but I don't like it when it's implied that that's the only way all villagers in Africa sleep.
@@GK-qt6vh I think what you’re failing to realize based off of you other comment is that everything you see here is a choice. I’ve travelled all over Africa. This is the first place I’ve seen where people actually enjoy sleeping on the ground. Most migratory groups are like this. Nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to fight about, nothing to take personally.
Are. You. Acting. Or. This. Is. Real?
I love it, she's so Westernized and funny she needs to be in the movies hilarious 😂 they're a Great couple‼️
I'm impress with ur couraged queen. Trust, ones u experience this life. The world will be balance in ur mind and ur narrative will shifts. Especially, when u from America. Africa teach you the natural balance of life. The peace worth more than anything the world can offer u.
This is a movie! I give it to you my American sister! And the where is my husband??? Then he got out of that house lol! The tooth brush ah ah I am from Congo 🇨🇩 living in America. In Congo we have a tree which branches are used as tooth brush/tooth paste because after brushing, your teeth will be so white that no dentist scaling will beat this.I like when the husband says you will survive "survival show" lol
I can’t wait for this one. Your videos are really inspiring
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 well done for trying to adapt Sis. I grew up in Africa but in the city, however I experienced the whole sleeping on the floor thing when I once spent the night at my great grandmother's. We slept on a cow's skin in the freezing cold...the Kenyan highlands can get down to low Temps of 10°c....so we slept in the kitchen mud hut...the stick toothbrush is the best 👌🏾
Our sis inlaw am soo proud of you soo kind and lovely for being our inlaw NICE ONE
Thrown into the fire of the indigenous traditional culture!😍😂
Memories of my childhood and growing up in North Ghana come alive watching your clip. I like Vim Lady's flexibility and ability to adapt so well to life there and Vim Man's supportive love and guidance.
I enjoyed this video today of lovely couple hang in there😀great episode for today like how wife was being interactive with family. much patience goes a long way...😊😃
In reality most people won’t be this patient lol vim lady we proud of you teach them girl you resilient 😊
Also cider tree is very good in brushing teeth taste like mint
Aeeee madam ES. Awww sweet village life..🤣🤣🤣. Such comedians. Lol. The kids are so cute...l really love the words "in Africa everything is possible" The possibilities are truly endless lol. This neeeeds an Oscar. I love it.😊
I REALLY Enjoyed THIS VIDEO!Sis you are really Lucky to be able to experience Africa Ghana 🇬🇭 I Dream to Vist one Day before I Die… Our African Culture Roots Is Soo Important To Learn And Know About Many Will NEVER Know what it is ALL ABOUT….Blessings To You And Hubby🙏🏾❤️❤️
That's one thing I couldn't do, sleeping on no hard floor, I could live and cook and the outside but that's as far as it goes, she's a great wife, love this couple 😅😅
That’s why AA women who can’t or don’t have the ability to adapt shouldn’t go to Africa and try to impose western beliefs on others don’t go if you can’t adapt.
😂😂when the sad music started playing in the background I couldn't stop laughing
You are so funny guys. This is exactly how I feel about the toilet and shower stuff when I visit some places in Cameroon. Love from 🇬🇧
I love this video and the relationship you have together. You can make it
The video wasn't long enough 😩 I wanted to see more 😫 though I enjoyed
That is so, but I realise that little bites keep you anxious for more.
What's next????
I wonder!!!!
Trust the director; they always know how to make it happen and bring the entire plot to fruition.
The children looks so healthy
😂😂 I love the village village too. But just for a day!!!! You have the patience of Job lol
This was Hilarious. I applaud your obvious growth in regards to the Skits acting & editing Love to see it
LOL! you two have me dying with laughter!
Though I'm A Nigerian married to Northern Ghana 🇬🇭 man, we live in Italy 🇮🇹, But west Africa All the Culture and life style is just the same😅, just little different , But Northern Ghana is Uniquely and Beautifully different . I'm Loving it more watching you guys💚💚💚💚💚💚💜💜💜💜💜👌👌👌👌👌👌
The stick supposed to have a blade like side to brush the tong and round flattish side for the teeth . No chemicals , that’s why Africa. Have got real white teeth and strong . I’m loving u guys n feel like visiting Ghana from uganda 🇺🇬 just to meet u guys

🤣🤣Sorry I missed the live. Grand rising everyone, I'm loving all of your work, achieving experiences, ES you are such a strong Lady, I'm in awe, ES you and husband are awesome . Sending peace, love & blessings to all.
😀😀😀 I am enjoying your videos, love you guys… encouraging words from your hubby.
But seriously, ES you are the best, I give it to you despite not being prepared by Vim ahead of time, at least you still went through the drill. Just see it as survival drill bcos the truth is that sooner or later some people if not majority worldwide will be going thru a situation where they are displaced far away from their homes or countries. Remember Rwanda genocide that occured about 25 yrs ago whereby about a million die. People are deprived of sleep, no food, no water, They are in constant fear and terror, running Helter skelter for their lives and sometimes they drink from very dirty streams that's if they are even lucky to come across one.. Sometimes they drink each other's urine and eat crickets, flies, and sometimes eat flesh of the dead just to survive. Let's pray we don't experience these but the reality is that millions of people have gone thru it B4, pockets of ppl are going thru it right now in Congo, Nigeria (Boko Haram) and others places. it's being prophesied or anticipated that it's still going to happen on a global scale eventually. COVID was just a test run . May God save us. However, from hindsight and insights, people in Africa who are regarded as "Less Sophisticated" and already used to hardlife, rough terrain etc are better positioned for survival far ahead of people caught up in America and Europe. This explains why Africans quickly adapt and excel when they go to America and Europe. My submission !!!
In the bushes in Jamaica 🇯🇲 they use sticks like that they use to brush. I remember that when I was a baby.
I like your new experiences
My dad use to brush his teeth that way, but we never knew it was a part of our culture.
Hhe is Vinman brushing his teeth with a branch.... I have seen it all o!!! You are a sport sis. I experienced the same when I visited my husband in Nigeria.... God bless you both!
🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰 Girllll y'all had me crying. The sweeping though. I can't. And the girls clapping and jumping reminded me of the sisters in the color purple. The music for story time 🤣. I'm done....lol. 😅😅. The whole vibe is HILARIOUS ❤❤
Lady- you are doing your best to acclimate to your new situations. I take my hat off to you. Like you, I would be anxious to get back home. In all honesty though we take so much for granted and you are learning survival skills with your husband. I only wish he'd told you what to expect in advance.
I feel you with being tired. I was feeling exhausted for you. Just watching you trying hang in there. You did good though. 👍
When she said your not a villager you from the tree I fell out 😂
Not got me out here in these Bushstreet"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I really, really, enjoyed this video. I laughed; and I laughed. I even felt your emotional as well as physical discomforts. I do because I sleep on the floor. I have a memory foam mattress but before I got it, the nights were not good. I do what I do to prepare myself for the inconveniences that I will face once I get back there to Africa, which I know I will be ALL RIGHT. This video and your other ones are very helpful in telling the African truth of life there. I appreciate all that you, two, are doing to up lift and spread this knowledge. I enjoy learning about our African people and you are doing a good job at teaching it. 👍😊😍😂😂💗
When you return, where will you go? Which country?
From my experience, I tend to only find discomfort when I allow someone else to take the wheel.
I really do not enjoy sleep overs anywhere. 😂
@@DIYHOUSEANDFARM I'm not sure where I'll end up at. I'm learning some Swahili and that's where I want to go. I also have another place in mind that I don't want to mention, yet. I know what you mean about others taking the wheel.😊
Sorry, I just realized I didn't say where I plan to go that speaks Swahili. Hopefully, I'm going to Tanzania.
I noticed the clothes y’all slept in look very clean considering y’all slept on i believe the ground “ watching this video had me smiling from ear to ear tell vinmen in Africa it’s possible 😂
It's not like a dirty group, they put something first your saw
*😁IN AFRICA, EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE❣️*

"I gotta stay ready with you."😂😂😂
Where's my huuuusband? 😅😅😅😅😅I am enjoying this one. Guuuuurrrrrrrrllll. This was GREAT! I can't stop laughing. This was my experience in my husbands' village in Nigeria many moons ago. This right here brought back memories. The village grew on me after 2 weeks though. 😂😂😂😂😂
"Africa is surviving" he making you stronger
Stronger for what? 😆 What I’ve been through is much more difficult than sweeping and pounding.
For rougher time that's going to befall us all, the way this world is going
You guys are so much fun to watch. 🤣 You make my day..ES it is amazing how you have adjusted to the village life. I have traveled there I know it’s not easy but possible. Vinmen is a great teacher. Blessings and love to you both…❤️
