I never wanted to pay visits to my late grandma but my mom will force us to. Today i di miss my late gradma and the visits. Wish my kids cld experience same... africa culture is so beautiful, simole life, cintentement,.. my grandma kitchen bed was made from bamboo trees and grass mattress but her bedroom bed was modern but trust me, i missed the kitchen bed.. we only appreciate things when we cannt experience them with our late love ones anymore

One of the things I always worried about for my American wife was her catching malaria. I was diligent about having them sleep under ITNs and spray repellent on all the bed spreads. Do you take any precautions like anti malarial and tents? It takes a while to develop some sort of immunity. I wish you continued health and prosperity.

If you are able to withstand this *torture* 🤣🤣🤣 for a whole week, then I salute you. This unprepared and unplanned trip should be turned into a book. If you passed this test of being able to live in a typical village life, then you are the strongest woman I ever seen . A lot of African women who lives in the cities can't pass this test.

Now you know what an African life in the rural areas really is like. We lived through it was rather sweet, the togetherness, bonding as one in a tough environment, we never really saw it as you see, torture.

Exactly the kind of life I went through in childhood but which is today unknown in my village which is now drowned in modernity. My village of 50 years ago is unrecognisable today and I'm nostalgic for it. This video has further wetted that nostalgia.

Corn porridge is a traditional Caribbean breakfast dish. But we drink all kinds of porridge like peanut, green plantain and/or banana porridge. Love it! Great for babies.

I’m proud of you that you had actually the experience of how the village life is in Africa, the porridge you tried isn’t bad and they have a simple life and much respect even with the kids and sleeping on the floor is actually good sometimes. You are very brave and your husband has to be honored that you are adapting to their culture.

I just simply need to meet this mysterious ES. I can't believe that you guys are still in that village although I understand it's not your choice. Vinman pls 🙏 take her back home and come back to the village when you are sure that Grandpa is back in the village. Even most Africans that were born in the village don't want to go back and when they go for a visit they can't stay this long. Unbelievable.

Not fair to not give your spouse and partner warning before you do this. Simply preparing for this would have eliminated the confusion/conflict. ES is being extremely patient. Vin Man - from another African Ghanaian man to another - drop the comments about ES needing to learn Africa or how to be with an African man. Unless you are prepared to do the same to learn how to live like an African American man. One day you may find yourself in the US and if the same were done to you, you won’t appreciate it. As the black people's on this planet, we need to step up in a new days of ages, starting to training our youngest children about changing on this planet, I know that we will always lived back into early times, but we do have more advanced of life's too. Teaching the news generation how they can be more creative of life's and hoping live more convenient of ourselves, this is the reasons we have education institutions building and training program for our people, so we won't be left behind ion planet and others world's. Charities beginning into your home and spreader a brought into our neighborhood.
