I remember in the mid aughts Dååth was really well known and kind of blew up - seemed like a flash in the pan as they seemed to fade into obscurity only a few years later. I recall seeing them on one of the ozzfest second stages and they were great! really digging these new songs!

I actually had to research my own CZcams history for this comment. This video came across my feed about 2 weeks ago. I didn’t know of the band. Never heard of them. Saw the name and thought that was a cool name. Let me check this out. At first glance, due to the name, I was sure they were from Europe but surprised when I saw they hail from ATL. So I watched the video and was amazed how thick, clean AF and awesome this sounded. When I reakuzed they have been missing from the scene for 14 years only to come out of nowhere and put a few new songs together, which I have listened to and have added to my “liked” playlist, I was surprised to say the least. I too am stoked to hear a new record and depending on their schedule if they come by SWFL I’d be interested to check them out. Just something about this sound that really comes together for me. Some real bangers for a workout playlist as well.
It took me a while to find them after you mentioned them in another video. I listened to Day of Endless Night, loved it, and gave them a sub. This song has me really excited for the rest of the album now. Would love to see them live someday maybe with someone like Orbit Culture.
I used to love these guys back in the day too. Probably one of the first death metal bands I got into. Can’t wait for their new album

I still have DAATH's 2 song Demo they handed out at the Masquerade in Atlanta in the early 2000's. If my memory is correct. It was a Strapping Young Lad show.
I fucking missed Daath so much. I first saw them at Ozzfest. I loved the vocalist then and was so upset when he left and they really didnt make anything afterwards until now

That's mostly a US thing though, there are better bands out there that aren't all Core crap.
I knew of this band back in the day, just didn't get around listening to them, but I knew half or a quarter of the members went to join with Chimaira for a couple of years
Eyal is one of the niciest guys in the industry and a hell of a guitarist and producer. This album is going to crush. One thing I love, is this song gives me Coroner vibes. Another favourite band of mine.

I saw Daath live in...2008? 2007? I don't remember, but I remember they opened for Nile and I liked them. Now I see why I hadn't heard of them for so long, they were actually gone!

I remember Dååth from like mid-late 00's?. They were kind of a slightly more progressive LoG/metalcore band. Very American sound. This new track has more orchestral parts than I remember from before. Not my cup of tea, but it'd be cool for the band if they get a "second break".

I neglected my cd collection for a long time and now I am finding it VERY hard to get them. I went to a ministy show and no just records. Rancid's web page and no just records. I prefer to buy from a creator as much as I can. Failing that local small business but even that is not easy where I am. We have one shop that sells cds out of 4 music stores.

i like the production and the drums a lot. not fond of hash vocal overdubbing / layering / delays ect. besides regular double tracking. well, the first 7 angels 7 plagues LP where the two vocal tracks were out of sync by about 0.8 secs sounded rad, cattle decapitation too but he actually does scream and 'sing' in different frequencies simultaneously live

I saw Daath open for Dragonforce & Cynic in 2009. They were ok live, I guess, but their performance didnt make me want to go out and buy their albums 🤷 To be fair, they arent quite the style of metal that I generally listen to, and I only went to the show because a ticket was $10!
