- This time we get the 1982 Polaris TXL Indy far enough together to take it for a ride. Does it go great? Well, it doesn't go great but it doesn't go terribly bad...

Tommy has been a great addition to the channel and I gained a new friend by meeting him. We had the same problem when test 2 Bag when it was 45 out. Rich rich rich
It's been great building sleds with Tommy again.
Cheers Guys !
Clean the carbs!!
Good to see another Indy back out there 👍, especially an 82!
You guys could almost do these blindfolded by now lol
Braap Braap! 🍻🍻🍻
Cheers Rob!
Grass drags in February... wow, don't recall that since like '82 I don't think! Realize ya'll been around the Polaris block and this isn't a pure hot rod, but all those Fuji liquid twins can easily take 10-15 thou off the head and still be pump gas friendly, sure wakes them up and you already did the 38s---- mizeall....;)
We really enjoy your CZcams videos. Thanks Nutter for mentioning my name in your video for the pizza. Please keep doing what you do. You really made my day and I really needed that.
Thanks again!
Sunday's are so awesome first thing I do is grab my phone and watch your video Nutter I've learned a lot about sled's
Thanks!
I see you guys have the same amount of snow we do here in Iowa.
The hole saw bushing is genius.
My brother did my carbs on my 90 prowler, and the new main jets had a different taper than the originals, it’d idle but loaded up when trying to rev it up. Had to get new needles to match the Chinese jets.
Sure wish we’d get 1 more snow so I can ride it.
Great video guys
Lakes are open here. I'd still go ditch banging if we got some snow, but it's not looking good.
Nothing like this February snow ! Lol❤ Excellent videos guys ! Maybe we'll get some riding snow still ! Who knows !😊
I hope so!
You can never have enough sled parts I just went out and bought it 94 ski doo mx 470
cool
I sent some pictures of things I got Mr nutters
ok
You need to get a old Victory motorcycle and paint it up as a TXL.
that would be cool.
been watching your videos for a while now nice to see all these old sleds being fixed up cheers guys
Thanks!
Great video ! What kind of temp gauge was installed? Is it into a coolant line? On the heads or in the exhaust ? Any info will be greatly appreciated!!
Just a cheap auto parts store temp gauge. Fit right into the head with one of the adapters that came with it.
When you weld on the sleds with cdi has the welding ever caused problems with the cdi?
As you can see in this video I really like to take the motor out. If I can't take the motor out I always unplug everything and if possible remove the CDI. Also be sure of your ground path. Even then it's risky, so pull the CDI out of the chassis whenever you can.
How long do you cook your carbs?? Just gonna clean the carbs!!!!!
Usually about 20 minutes.
So whats the story on this years Wild Bill 20 ?
No snow, so no sled race. Todd might be doing something else, but you would need to ask him.
