  • Before we move on to all the #fancyfinishes and nice backcarry variations, we start with a true basic: the rucksack carry.
This knotless finish helps to keep the shoulderstraps in place.

Any tips for dealing with a wiggly baby who will do things like try to climb your back and/or straighten his legs while you're trying to make sure the wrap is nice and spread out from knee to knee? I've been wanting to try back carries for a while but he just won't let me. :(

it might sound scary but try to stand up as straight as possible :) If you use a carry with 'crosspasses' (where the fabric goes between both legs, spread from knee to knee) , you could also just finish the carry sloppy and quick, retighten and adjust later once he's settled.
      Just a few tips:
      - give a distraction (remote control, food - but be aware of chocking hazards, toy)
      - stand up straight
      - try a carry with crosspasses. for example BWCC, christinas ruckless or secure high backcarry.
