If you start with a hipscoot, or a Superman or santatoss, you will notice that the first layer in this carry, which goes under the leg, can give a leaner or very active baby room to move away from your body, until the second layer is added. Keep tension on the top rail and make sure the layer is spread over both shoulders.

Amazing tutorial, thank you! My baby is 5.5 months old and sometimes he really fusses in the wrap, I think maybe being on the back might help.

I have trouble getting my clothing all bunched up while tightening. If I am wearing looser fitting clothing like a sweatshirt, how do I avoid getting it all pulled awkwardly?
That's hard to avoid. Pulling my clothes down / correcting it after tightening is what I tend to do. I wear long tops as a base layer, which I can tuck into my trousers. (To avoid suddenly showing my lower back or belly 😅 when my shirt gets pulled or twisted upwards during wrapping)

What size does this work for, I have a 2 month old 13 lbs
Size wrap? You can use a shorter wrap (for me a size 3) and tie under the bum. Or tie in the back if you're using a longer wrap (for me a size 5). Or child's size? I'd say newborn up to the moment you possibly switch to backcarries. With a toddler i prefer different frontcarries , if I use a frontcarry at all. (Front cross carry is great with a toddler)
Not realistic as your fake baby doesn't have the weight of a real baby...
It's a weighted fake baby, but if you check out my CZcams channel, you'll find plenty of videos with real babies. 🍀
I used this one plenty with my baby. It was lovely. When she got bigger it did get too heavy and i switched to a woven wrap

Size 7 if I wrap a big toddler. Size 6 with a smaller baby (or Demo doll)

A long size 2. Around 2.9m
I'm about to buy my first woven wrap (thanks to you!) and I'd also like to buy some rings. What size ring do you recommend to start with? What size do you have in this video?
I would recommend both size M and size L. For most finishes where you go through the ring with both tails, you would need a size L. If using the ring instead of a knot, mostly a size M is needed. 🍀

Why do you think it might be dangerous? 🍀 because of the slightly rounded back?

I tried this but the first knot kept kept sliding down no matter how tight I retied the waist straps above my bust, but I am flat chested and have a slim figure. Could it be possible that I am just too thin/not curvy enough for this style of tie?
