Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip (Duke of Edinburgh) and Princess Margaret greet the Shah as he steps off his train. Sir Philip Warter stands beside the Duke. The Princess Royal (Princess Mary), Duchess of Gloucester, Duchess of Kent (Princess Marina) and her daughter Princess Alexandra all shake hands with the Shah. He then chats to the Queen.
The Shah moves along a line of officials waiting to greet him, including Prime Minister Harold Macmillan, Mr Butler and Foreign Secretary Selwyn Lloyd. The Queen and the Shah leave the station, followed by the rest of the royal family.
