Getting into firearms has changed my entire health perspective for sure. Down 20 lbs so far and I've spent more time outdoors and get more steps than I have since I was actually in the Army.... a few decades ago. Good stuff, love it, thanks Mike!
GREAT training video by a GREAT instructor!!....... I do a similar workout I call my firearms boot camp...carry 40 pound dumb bells around square. ( I do not shoot from each one as you did, but I will now) I do 25 jumping jacks, then run 50 yards, run back to shooting position shoot for accuracy, i run, being bungeed to another guy (200 plus pounds) and shoot from 4 different positions while he is pulling against bungee...I carry a 60 pound water bag over one shoulder...run to different firing positions, shoot with one hand while water is sloshing back and forth over my shoulder (defiantly affects shooting, and makes me work extra hard on my stance). Just some of the things I do...THANKS AGAIN!!
I've seen reports that USCCA insurance is not paying for attorneys and not protecting the citizen who is insured. I am a USCCA member and those reports are causing me concern. What's going on? We need a video response about the insurance company we're putting our trust in.
Our memberships are for honest and responsibly armed Americans who find themselves in a situation in which they need to defend themselves or their loved ones against the threat of death or bodily harm. There have been times when what was claimed to be self-defense, was not self-defense so coverage for that ended. I think all responsibly armed Americans would agree that if what was initially presented as a lawful act of self-defense turned out to be a black and white first-degree murder, there should not be coverage.
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.” - Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, August 19, 1785
I would have a heart attack doing that work out. How about a gun workout routine for senior citizens. Maybe you could consult with Jerry Mchalick sorry it that is spelled wrong.
Do it with a SIRT pistol, laser ammo as part of Dry Fire training. I love the idea of using KB Pyramid with shooting. Years ago trained with Dragon Door for RKC KB instructor. Your swing needs to be more hips and the KB, wrists and shoulders all in line like a standing plank. You were lifting with more anterior Deltoids
Good information, bad form. If you injure yourself training you are worthless fighting. Train smart not just hard. Can't make gains if you are not able to train
USCCA - isn’t this the organization that terminates members insurance after they are involved in a self-defense shooting? Seems like potential new members deserve to know about the history of this organization.
No, being involved in a self-defense incident or being charged with a crime would not mean a member to be dropped by the Self Defense Laibility Insurance Policy that USCCA Members have access to. UFCIC is contractually obligated to uphold its promise and provide coverage to members who have been involved in a lawful act of self-defense, which is defined by the policy as the act of defending oneself or others against an unlawful, unprovoked, and imminent threat of death or serious bodily harm. If a member, as a responsibly armed American, acts in this manner, coverage will be extended to them. The notion that the USCCA would drop someone simply because they were charged with a crime is 100% untrue and furthermore, doesn't make any sense. Practically every self-defense incident will result in being charged with a crime, if not multiple crimes.
@@USCCAOfficial the problem is that the insurance company is passing the judgement of guilt before the trial or the judgement and not providing attorney fees. If you aren't working for this insurance company maybe you could address this whole thing in a full video with stats of covered incidents and non covered incidents and the outcomes?
If you have the right weapon then control is not a problem at all. I carry the 10 mm EAA Witness combat sport and it is dead on accurate buddy at 150 ft me holding a gun out in front of myself so what does that tell you

The farmers carry really works. I grew up on a farm and carried 5 gallon pails of water to to the garden much
Appreciate the motivation to want to be/get more fit to be in more control.
I love it
More content like this to come!
@@USCCAOfficial let’s keep it coming
Might be a dumb question, but where can I find ranges that will let me run drills like this with live fire? Are there any public ones?
This one is great

Just carry lighter weight. Same same.
I don't know 1:59 if can just walk around and take shots anywhere...

great vid!
Unfortunately people in California can only go up to 10 reps without a spare mag.

Why is it bad form? That’s such a troll thing to say.
Somehow i dont think my neighbors will be very understanding about me shooting in my backyard, so unfortunately that ones a no-go

Lol I like how the father of communism is bitching about how authoritarian Ford was 😂😂

The video is referring to having control and good grip strength, UNDER PRESSURE. not on a range, standing still.
A fifty yard shot in self defense? A 5’, 10’ or 15’ foot shot is going sell to a jury. How about a 3k’ shot? What does that tell you buddy?
@cliffcorbitt9494 And what does your comment have to with cardio? We’ll wait😂
