Looking great!
Many Thanks!
The guitar is coming along pretty well.
Thanks. It really does start with a well designed and cut out kit. Everything has fit together perfectly.
Nice work Bill thanks for the lessons!
Thanks for stopping by the channel and watching the video.
Smooooootthhh Cant wait to see it under color and what you have decided on.
Many thanks. I got the paint in and will be starting the finish application this week. Fingers crossed that it turns out the way I am hoping. Painting is NOT my strong point, so I've dragging my feet just a bit!
@@billsguitargarage I saved up over winter and got a 3 gallon air compressor and a spray gun. That way I dont have to paint with an on demand weak sauce pump and air brushes. I will be able to do in 5 minutes what took several hours before on a body.
@@borgonianevolution I have a 30 gal compressor already, and my next tool purchase is a HVLP spray gun and associated equipment
As always, amazing work from an amazing person and artist!!! Are you thinking of like a dark metallic gray color to accent the gold hardware?
Thanks BK. Yeah, that would be a good colour combo. But gonna keep everyone waiting until the next video. It is going to be nitro lacquer so once I paint it and apply the clear coat, I'll let it hang for about a month before I do the level sand and polish.
@@billsguitargarage Nitro lacquer, like Oxford? I know you won't spoil it, but that Charcoal Frost would be in that realm....
@@bigkahuna100 I am using Oxford
a good idea to have the scratch plate together with the pickups when aligning?
I try to have it as complete as possible when aligning everything.
hey man Ive been looking too find a kit like the V you built! Im 16 and trying too build a guitar my name is holden so If you could put in a good word Anyways have a good night.
Ive also really enjoyed the videos so far
Thanks Holden. If you can give your last name as well, I will definitely forward it up. You really couldn't go wrong with this kit. The hardware is good quality, and so far every set of pickups that have come with the kits sound very good.
@@billsguitargarage I will probably be upgrading the pickups at some point maybe with some dave mustaine signatures

@@Lunar-iu5nq or you can try some of my pickups! I make Sonora Custom Wound pickup. I have my signature Siderwinder set. Teams a high output bridge with a PAF styled neck. I have that set in several guitars. It’s actually my favorite set that I make.
