  • Hello all, in this video you will see how i installed 10 inch mini ape #handlebars on my #streetbob Dyna. #HarleyDavidson.
    Without boring you with the stuff you've seen before, i just point out the key things to look for.

    I actually just put these on my '20 street bob and love them. I did have a couple issues with wiring the right hand side, but it all worked out. Look great feel great. Thanks for the review

      @@BRUISER1 I actually just extended them myself. They ended up being about 4" short or so. I just took my time, soldered up then heat shrinked all the wires back up. I did make the fly by wire a little long, but it was getting late and I was tired. What did you use to fish the wires thru ? Man, I had a hell of a time with the right side

      @@BRUISER1 no, did not change the clutch or brake line at all.

      @@riceddy7420 Thats good. the softail streetbob and the dyna streetbob had the same handlebars on them anyway so its a essy conversion.

    I have a 2014 Fat Bob and was curious about changing out the stock drag bars for these exact bars!
    They look great!

      Thanks mate. I'm really happy with them. If the cables were long enough, I'd even give 12" a go. But these are so comfortable.
      And because they cheap, if i dont like them its no big loss.

      Thanks. 100% on looks better. Still getting used to them. Standard bars felt more comfortable, but that'll change.

      My only concern is that they're from China and cheaper compared to popular brands that sell for $400 plus.

      @@BRUISER1 Only thing I'd have done is Thoroughly Sprayed inside with Mako Spray ,,its like WD but oil based ..I did my Chassis/ frame through all possible Holes to prevent Corrosion from Inside..

    Hey man great vid! Looking to do the same to my ‘17 Fat Bob. How are the bars holding up? I got a similar brand from China and am somewhat nervous about trusting them (being only $120 and from China)

      Thanks mate. I've gone on a few highway rides and also commuted to work and they are perfect.
      I pushed them forward a bit just to make them sit higher.

      These are the 12" .. i couldn't find the 10 inch rise, dont know why. Its not appearing.

      Thanks mate. No i didn't. Check out the second video, it shows that the brake cylinder fits as is, otherwise the bar is too thick

      @@anthonymontoya1142 Its very comfortable. I tilted them forward a bit. Everyone tells me they real suit the bike. 10 inch is the highest i can go, using the standard cables.

    How did you like the feel of them being wider while riding? Any issues tightening the hand controls snugly?

      Im loving them. I pushed them forward just a bit and they felt more comfortable. No issues at all.
      Getting heaps of compliments on the look.

      @@jaybourbon8608 Would have been very close with 12 inch. Probably would depend on the tilt angle of the bars.

      @@BRUISER1 Yeah I'll just go with the 10s. My other bikes are 16 and 18 inch rise I'll keep this one more sleek.. Appreciate the video and the comment brother.. Oh.. Hey gotta ask.. You know anything about the relays on this bike? I can't find it anywhere. Need to find out if it's compatible with led turn signals. Or at least for the front to be swapped. I don't want hyper flash.

      @@jaybourbon8608 Thanks for the feedback brother. Not sure about the relay. I have LED as front indicators but that was done by the previous owner. Good luck mate.

      Correct this is the 10" , but the 12" was exactly the same. I didn't make a second video because you can just copy this one.

      @@kingb8824 I'm about 175cm (5'9) . They are about chest high. The standard Streetbob bars are also 10" but the curve is slightly different. Dont get me wrong was very comfortable with the other bars and easy control of the bike. These are almost the same, but just look so much better.
