Love this series
Glad to hear that you are enjoying the series and thank you very much for the feedback!! --Jeremiah
I’ve been using a qve45 marked K43 rifle for reenacting since 2002 and it’s been super durable and reliable with blanks ! Cool video !
That is really cool, you don't see a whole lot of these rifles out there in the wild if you will. Thanks for sharing that and taking the time to watch! --Jeremiah
Gewehr (G) Karabiner (K). As Gewehr means 'long rifle" it was later changed to K, distinguishing as a carbine.
Put that rifle on paper, it looks like you pulled off a pretty good group.
An excellent tidbit of information! Thank you for taking the time to share! If we had more time during this trip to visit Mike I would have gladly put a few of his rifles on paper. I would encourage you to check out Handloader magazine or his book all these firearms have been talked about a lot over the years in the magazine and covered extensively in the book. Thanks for watching! --Jeremiah
I just found this channel. Great video! I subscribed to Handloader for years and Mike V was my favorite author.
I didn’t get from the video whether Mike has a shooter’s kit for his K43 or not. IF so, which company’s shooter’s kit does he have?
I am about to acquire a K43 ac 45. I suspect that I will want to acquire a shooter’s kit.
Glad that you found us we have been doing videos for a couple of years now, although they are not very frequent (about every two weeks) we try to make the best possible videos we can and pack as much information into them while still making them easy to watch. As far as the shooters kit or gas system on this particular rifle I am not sure which kit he has or if the rifle was just shimmed. I would highly recommend chatting with a good gunsmith about the process and get some feedback from them and perhaps even Mike as well. Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to comment we hope you enjoy our other videos as much as this one! --Jeremiah
@@HandloaderTV I am guessing that Mike is still a regular writer for Handloader and Rifle magazines. Since YOU know how to contact him, why don’t YOU ask him about the shooter’s kit for the K43?
IF Mike has a public email, maybe you can share it?
Thanks

Another great video. I think we have all had a rifle or three that we expected to be extraordinary and turned out to be anything but. That can be a crushing disappointment. Thankfully, something like a k43 is rare and historically important enough to earn its keep just by being.
Best regards to all involved.
Thank you very much! Indeed, I think we have all been there a time or two, It is interesting to see how many people have misconceptions about these rifles. Indeed, it is a very interesting rifle and certainly of great historical value. Thanks for your continued support and taking the time to watch and comment! --Jeremiah
Is alleged inaccuracy because its 80years old.
It is an old rifle and that certainly doesn't help the accuracy but there were plenty of first hand reports of accuracy issues. They were also generally speaking made later in the war and that could have contributed as well. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! --Jeremiah
Hillbilly music for ww2 weapons no. Martial music bitte.
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it is difficult to get good music here on CZcams and the primary reason why we use Brenn Hill is we have the rights to do so. He is also a 2nd amendment supporter and a genuinely good guy and we like to support folks like that. Thank you for the feedback though and taking the time to watch and comment!! --Jeremiah
