I started watching this video for Ryan Gosling, but... my God, Colin Firth is such a gorgeous man!
Then you would love him in 'Love Actually'. His character is great in that movie.

Colin and Mark seem to have great chemistry despite the awkwardness of this whole interview. Mark in particular seemed fascinated by the diaries.

I love Robert, I think he is so believable in his roles.

colin firth is KING!! He was more comfortable in the other newsweek roundtable, I think he's more of a woman's guy!! He's more attuned with himself in the company of women!! I LOVE HIM!!!! Oh my god, and Ry Gos.... can i get some fries with that shake shake booty??

I can't help laugh/smile/weird-wtf-face when I listen to James Franco. He's so eccentric. He is so gonna be that weird, hippie man when he gets old.
"what makes a great actor?" love that sigh that comes from Duvall, one of the greatest American actors, ever. forget Brando, the man who could breath into fiery life one of our greatest mythic figures, Augustus "Gus" McCrae- that is the man I would want to learn from.
there is something truly wrong with james franco but he should be nominated for his performance in this interview

Duvall looks so impressed by Ryan (love). It's nice to see a vet appreciate the company of a young actor. Ruffalo is charming. Franco (love him) scared the shit out of me with the loud talking. Jesse was so nervous, but spoke well enough. He'll hopefully get over that. Firth is swagger in a collared shirt!
Why am I just discovering these now, such a great way to learn about the craft, to see actors discussing the process. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the actors experiences and the films they've made and love. I have so many films to check out from these sessions.

I love this so much. Jesse's awkardness makes him stick out like a sore thumb. It's the best to watch everyone try not to laugh whenever he speaks.

What an incredibly good looking table! It is definitely an uncomfortable and personal topic to talk about. Glad rhey decided to.openly discuss it. Its good to see the vulnerablity and uneasiness that makes them human, instead of the superficially poised oscar moments.

I worked briefly along side Ryan on Young Hercules as a body double, he seems to be less arrogant with age, and a good actor.

Does anyone else think Franco was kind of trying to impress when he talked about his 127 and James Dean and Milk etc parts, the way he talked looked like he was trying to impress the older actors behind the table.

Love Ryan Gosling and James Franco! One of the best upcoming actors that eventually will get an Oscar! Still mad that Ryan Gosling wasnt nominated! Blue Valentine was just phenomenal, the way the actors were able to capture the true essence of love and falling out of love. ps Jesse makes everyone pay close attention lol idk for good or bad either way hes nerdy cute

Creep Factor 10 - When he's asked to repeat his question to Gosling and then takes on an annoyed tone, I could have punched the screen. I don't even rate Gosling all that much but that was so rude. Thank god they got rid of him!

I disagree. I thought Ryan showed great respect for Duvall. He didn't hide his laughing at Duvall's gruff remarks; some of the others were doing that behind his back, seemingly. I think Franco seemed hostile towards almost everybody. Mark just thought everyone was hysterical, for some reason. I imagine no one was really being themselves; they knew their reactions to eachother were being closely filmed. Must have been uncomfortable.
Franco freezes when Firth starts talking! Thought they'd replaced him with a statue. So glad to see the full interviews theres one with day lewis/Jolie/Clooney etc where it cuts off during them talking. Just post the whole fucking thing! Thanks for posting this.

@Lerax429 I guess you don't get David Fincher's method. If you listen to Mark's comment, you would of realize that he did that for all of his films. David wants to see different ways that you can deliver a single line and he tends to do 50 takes to get that. In those 50 takes, he would of choose one. But that doesn't mean it took Jesse 50 takes to perfect it. It just mean that this David Fincher's method of directing a film.
@Lerax429 Yes I'm serious! That’s why I said it. Whether it was a realistic portrayal of Zuckerberg or not...it was some seriously great acting and his performance made the movie! I fully agree that Franco carried 127 hours himself and I would love to see him rewarded for it. I think both performances were great though and both deserve to win.

James speaking the first time was the best part of the interview. People say he comes off like he's full of himself but watching the other guys, I was experiencing second hand embarrassment cause they all seemed so uncomfortable. James Franco was the only one who seemed comfortable in his own skin and confident, it was nice and what he said made sense. He also made me laugh, his facial expressions are priceless.
hes a dickhead and no one was comfortable sitting with him.
@megcastro93 Haha, James is awesome. He seems to be very lay back. Duvall is just most experienced out of everyone in the group.

The moderator on the left is so annoying. He just won't let go with questions like "the best", "the worst", or that one moment. Colin's already told him many times that you can't single one thing out. Can't you ask something more worth while?
