Another great model from Volantex that flies straight out of the box. Plug in the landing gear, charge the flight battery, put 4 AA batteries in the transmitter and you'll be ready to go. It has a 6-axis stabilisation system...but it flies so well without it I doubt you would need to switch it on! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I bought one of these about a month ago and damn, it's an awesome little plane! I wanted something small that I could fly around the parking lot outside my shop and except for REALLY windy days, it boogies right along.
I just switched it to no gyro and did my first loop EVER....
It's a fantastic little plane perfect for beginners and damn cheap too!
I notice the gyro switch has three settings. Presumably one is off, but it would be interesting to know what the difference is between the other two. I notice also there is a switch on the top left of the transmitter that was not mentioned in the video. I wonder what it does? I am guessing it may be a high rates/low rates switch.
It's a pity there doesn't seem to be a Mode 1 version available. If only it was supplied with a mode switchable transmitter it would be a complete winner. As it is, I shall probably opt for the WLToys F949 as my plane for teaching kids to fly. It can be flown with a Turnigy 9X "real" transmitter, or with the WLToys mode switchable Flysky compatible transmitter.
Looks like a great little introduction to hobby plane! Could you explain the button/switch on the left side top? Is it for tricks? Is this a rebranding of the Eachine mini P51D & F4U series? Thanks. Jim

so what about in mid or expert mode ? i assume you can do tighter turns.
It's a super little plane. Much better than the hobbyzone champ. Recommended.☺
This little plane is awesome. Has 3 settings on transmitter to turn gyroscope to beginner , intermediate and none. I fly it on intermediate and it is a super little plane.
100% agree Pat. For the money you pay it really is very good. Proof you don't have to spend big bucks to have a lot of fun. A good little aeroplane to try out RC flying and if you won't have wasted lots of money if it's not your thing. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

I picked this up and the elevators are not working. The rudder and throttle work but when pressing the right stick up or down nothing happens. Have I missed something or should I return it?

Probably not a typo if it's spelled incorrectly on the cover of the manual as well. My daughter lives in Germany and works for a company that provides translation for some large international corporations. They do this not only with user manuals but also service and repair manuals that are distributed to authorized repair centers, etc. She was never a very good speller so when I see something like this I think of her....

This or WLtoys F949? I notice you did a video of both. This one seems to be lighter and but wingspan is 100mm shorter. Which one would fly slower?

How the battery being attached to the plane? Is it using thin magnet?
The battery is held in the small area under the top removable part of the cowl at the front of the fuselage. Does not need anything else to keep it in place. Stays in place when flying inverted and even when bad landing :>) Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Im left handed and Im out of luck with that transmitter, having the directional control on the right side; unless it can be opened and the sitcks swapped...
The controls can be reversed - then just use it upside down.
Are spare parts available for this plane, such as propeller shafts?
I bent mine. No sense buying a plane without replacement parts. You're much better off paying a bit more for a plane like a cub champ with all sorts of spare parts.
@@superdow1000 You can get the whole drive assembly on Banggood. Or if you need just the motor pull 1 out of an old toy quad 1-cell 8.5x20mm motor. For the Champ you will need several body shells before you need a drive unit! ;-)

Essential RC i asked 10 of people till now no one give answer i ask how much galon gas they answer me bottle of oil, coast $2.50 lololol
ok, i got a problem, i got this plane yesterday, went to fly it, but when i did my preflight inspection, i noticed the elevator was backwards. when i pull up, it dives, i thought it was some simple ch. reverse situation, but theres no switch. also the elevator was putting the wrong input when gyro was on. im gonna try to bind one of my many other radios to it, one with a switch. lets see what happens, but any input from anyone would help.

good idea, ok ill prob have to split the fuselage to get to it right, or just exacto knife a little access panel big enough to get to it. surgery on a new plane, bah. i wanted to at least break it myself before i had to do surgery, lol. i been flying for over 10 years and i have yet to get a rtf that was rtf. just my luck :). thanks alot, ill get back to you once im done.

is it possible that the horn on the elevator has been installed under vs over the elevator ? Has to be a mecanical issue. If you can, I am sure a few people would be interested to know how you solved the issue.. - dan
Take off the servo arm and rotate it 180 degrees and put back on servo.
Does this plane flip??
I think you mean...fly upside side/inverted? Yes, if you use elevator to pull inverted at top of a loop and then stay inverted. Hope that answers your question. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
