Having to go out because you need toothpaste is a mood. Running out of things is usually the only reason I go to the shop. I feel like kindle books are such a good way to get out of a slump. Okay, but the Pale Dreamer being the majority of the last bit of the book was not what I was expecting but what a nice serotonin boost 😂 Yessss Foundryside!

I also tried reading A Taste of Gold and Iron last year and only got a few pages in. Not sure why, because on paper it seems like the kind of thing I should love. But also, I think I was heading into a reading slump at the time and I could feel that book was going to be slow burn and detailed, and that clearly wasn't the vibe.
