In most cases, people get so scared that they decide to settle out of court and such NGOs thus extract money from them..it's akin to black mail. They know they might not win in court, but they know the court process itself is so tiresome and gruesome that most people would prefer not to go through it, or go through it with more losses than they would have to pay these black mailers.

There should definitely be some repercussions for the losses they caused. There should be a strong deterrence so such activities are not undertaken out of some petty revenge or propaganda, and proper screening should be done by the courts before taking such cases. Some punishment/liability should fall on the organization if its claims are unfounded. Ideally, this wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have a lazy and irresponsible judiciary but nothing can be done about that. But at least people can think twice before escalating these issues.

It was Omkar 1973 & not Palais Royale. Virat Kohli was not even popular during the construction era of Palais Royale.
Yuvraj Singh & Virat Kohli had booked flats & both have cancelled as well. Even Omkar Realtors & Developers are kind of bankrupt. 1973, Alta Monte etc..all projects are stopped. Rehab buildings of 1973 project are functional but not the sales tower.

My father has worked for this company, for this particular project. He used to tell me that it will be the tallest building in Mumbai. And how only scrap was going for crores. They would reject any material which would miss their standards by inches.
Then he moved to another company called Orbit (you can Google their project) they had luxurious apartments for the super rich and it went bankrupt too, 8 months salaries not paid, we went through a rough patch. Real estate is a brutal industry, even though it is understood that property rates will go higher only and demand will always be higher than supply but still people go bankrupt.
