Only a few areas of the world where land is very limited have tall development and vertical development is not necessary or it is not the only way to develop, just look at Europe. Don't try to solve a problem that doesn't even exist.
Mumbai airport should be shifted out of the main city, they could do it by making an artificial Island in the sea ofcourse in close proximity to the coast of mumbai.

#Askpt : Will India begin to use speed ferries from UAE/Oman/Kuwait/Iran to Gujarat (India's closest ports) any time soon? The Franciso Ferry built by Australia would make Gujarat to Oman about 9 hours and UAE about 12 hours. It has the capacity of 1000 people and 150 cars. It seems like the logical next step. Please make a video on that if possible. Thanks.
But according to geolocation ferries will have best route from mumbai to Foreign. Its location is plus point.
2ndly the one underwater train with oil and water pipeline also a proposed project from MUMBAI to UAE.
Thats why no ferries between countries possible in case of India. Not for next 15 to 20 years.

There is no doubt that Mumbai is India's only skyscraper city.
Hyderabad and Delhi NCR also building many...Kolkata,Thane,Navi Mumbai, Pune too.

Kolkata is much taller city compared to Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Bangalore. 🙂

I think residential building should be about 20-30 floors, so that cost will be much cheaper and middle class people can afford that .
Whereas commercial building should be 300-500 meters tall

why are no commercial skyscrapers buing built ? I guess they are the ones that actually form the majority of skyscrapers in foreign cities. Mumbai is still very far from being a skyscaper hub when comapred to cities like Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.

At least developers in a city Mumbai or in a country like India are not that poor to be unable to afford the process. Particularly when countries like Indonesia or South Africa or the Phillipines even are having it.

The cityscape of Mumbai, infra and the design with locations and numbers of skyscrapers play an important role. This can be evidently visible while driving through Mumbai. Even cities like Manila have certain business districts that match international standards while Mumbai has none. I expect Mumbai to look like a truly international City like those in China and Hong kong

Mumbai has less space so vertical development is more compared to other cities ❤ whereas in Bengaluru we have space and we are not restricted by any geological factors like sea,river,hills,etc so vertical development is less here its not that we don't have high-rises but not as high has average buildings in Mumbai like 150m+ same goes for Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad,etc

Ocean towers hight should be more then 600 meters like China. Only one or two such are needed to make a city skyline world-class. Cause the place where india tower now ocean towers are located is the only location where surrounding buildings are not tall so the 600 mtr bld would have look like world class view.
