  • Crazy insane 100,000Cd+ pocket rocket
    This thing is certainly no W10 and it’s more like a shorter Fatter less intense version of the W10. But still impressive for an LED, Non LEP light. I’ll be honest, I have never seen something so intense on such a small size light. I highly recommend this thing to anyone who need throw or just to have it and impress your friends for sure.

    Black circular rings, what is their usefulness and where to be placed?

    So manker mc13 or acebeam e10 is the better choice?

    TIR sexy, no weird center intensity falloff like the Emisar D1

      it really is for sure. I noticed that, very good beam pattern :)

      Couple corrections:
      1. The EC 10 does not put out monochromatic light, it is polychromatic coming off the phosphor surface.
      2. The light coming off the phosphor surface is not coherent light like the blue laser that excites the phosphor
      3. The reason for the great divergence is the ratio of the lens diameter to the spot size the blue laser makes on the phosphor surface (much smaller than a typical LED light source!

      Ah, I don’t have a MC13 :( but they’re not that much so I might just go ahead and get one for that reason :)

    Thanks for video!
    This is indeed a very interesting light. And the only true disadvantage seems to be the switch.
    1lumen.com also adressed this issue in their review. I have a few lights with a mushy switch but that is not neccesarily a problem. The question here is: does it work properly so you don't accidentally put on turbo when you want a regular mode(register a double click when you do a single click)? And the opposite.
    Another thing is that I really rather would use this light with a 26650 cell. I would like Acebeam offered a 26650 tube to it!

    • @04mach1speed
      @04mach1speed  Před 3 lety

      Indeed you’re right. I definitely havnt had any issues with incorrect mode switching, always goes into the mode you intend on it going into. I happen to agree. A 26650 extension would be a good thing to have. Another good thing is that when I tested the actually output with my relatively calibrated meter I got 590 lumens. So because the cell is 2A h/r you actually good a really good runtime. I really appreciate the comment :)

    How would you compare this to the Thrunite Catapult V6?

    • @04mach1speed
      @04mach1speed  Před 3 lety

      They’re both actually pretty comparable. The catapult will probably be brighter in overall output because the tested output on the E10 is less than advertised but the intensity is higher so it should match the catapult. However the catapult is much larger so if you want really compact then the E10 is a good bet. They’re both great companies so at that point it’s about which one you like more really

      PhotonsAcrossTheAir Thank you. Just got the Acebeam L17. It has a tail cap switch

    • @OOnti-dz4jd
      @OOnti-dz4jd Před 3 lety

      PhotonsAcrossTheAir I like it a lot . The hot spot is tight and shoots far. The spill is very wide and bright on medium, high and turbo. The tail switch is dickens and is great quality

    I care about the weight! Who really wants to carry a heavy light in their pocket? Do they make a light pouch for that light?

    • @04mach1speed
      @04mach1speed  Před 3 lety

      Sorry for the late reply, hundreds of emails. This thing actually fits in the back pocket surprisingly well, I do kind of wish it had come with one. But they don’t make a special one for this, you’d have to find one online with the dimensions
