Don't forget the Menonites, who cultivate their fields near Bacalar with highly harmful plant poisons. The wind blows directly towards the lagoon. That's why many people feel sick after a short time. This is the big problem in Bacalar.🤢

We know that farmers all over Mexico use insecticides and pesticides. Mennonites don't use anything special or different from other farmers in the area. People all over Mexico are not feeling ill after a short time. We have never seen any reports of issues like you have stated. Then there is the fact that there are only about 74,000 Mennonites in Mexico, most are in the north of Mexico (Chihuahua), the state of Quintana Roo has one of the smallest populations of Mennonites. Then there is the fact that in the Mennonite community, some use organic pesticides and some use chemicals. The percentage of Mennonite farmers near Bacalar is very small and not that impactful. Then there is the fact that the wind currents come from the ocean toward Bacalar. So, if anything, the farmers are downwind from Bacalar. So, there are a lot of holes in your comments, unless you have any real evidence.

I lived there for 2,5 years...i know exactly whats going on in Bacalar....Many Menonites in this area are infected with a rare parasites triggered by pesticides from Monsanto and Bayer...maaaany of them died, because of this infection....of course nobody reports, because Mexico os full with this toxic things... I know, there is a big profite for you, like Tulum or Playa...But this its my opinion that i want to share, about Bacalar and the contamination...the wind is constantly changing....Not one Mennonite using organic stuff 😁 because of their protit...It seems, health is not so important. Everywhere the people are supported from millions pharmacies....for their profit...and so on..
