New for 2024 there is a new part of Chichen Itza ruins opened called old Chichen Itza. This is a newly opened area has not been seen before by the public. This part is ONLY open on Fridays and Saturdays. For transportation, there is the Tren Maya which has opened the station by Chichen Itza. There is a bus service that connects the station with the entrance of Chichen Itza. We have more details on this in our article. There is also a new airline that will be flying into the Chichen Itza Airport. They offer connections to Cozumel; this might be a good option for those arriving by cruise and want to see the ruins in an easy way.

Very nice! The weather will look pretty much like the video. It is the hot and dry season and things get very brown. But also hot weather to enjoy cenotes and you are more certain of sunny days.

HOW big is the locker ? Can we leave suitcases in Baggage ?
Most of the lockers by the entrance are for things like a purse or small backpack. They do have a storage room for large bags. They do realize that some people are coming to Chichen Itza and going onward and need to store bags at times. We will say it is a basic facility and you should lock your bags or not leave anything of value in them.
