That dog isnt vicious whatsoever. He's weak from hunger. Pathetic.
Well, since he has shown aggressive tendencies, let's make him much stronger. The sad fact is that he's a stray that bit a stranger and no one knows his background, so they will need to test him for rabies and that is a fatal test.
Cops aren’t here to help the weak or needy, they work for strong and wealthy. Never forget that. They are like private security for the rich that we are forced to pay for.
@@citizensane9094 good dog bag owner. Yeah the rabies test requires removing the brain, so if there's no rabies do they put the brain back in?
@@agoodnight1050science has advanced.now a vet CAN take the brain out to examine it and put it back in.dogs fine.
@@agoodnight1050Lol! Probably not. I knew they cut their head off. I didn't know that they removed the brain.
He wouldn’t get in the car because you didn’t read him his rights. 😂😂😂
I’m dead
I know my rights! I didn't do nothing!
he was waiting on his lawyer because he didn't do anything wrong!
Too funny
😂😂😂 Seriously. Its just to corny to NOT lmao and I LOVE it!
Dad joke of the year 😂
To me, this dog seems like it just needs a loving home
Exactly I wish ppl would call rescues more often some places do like my neighborhood before calling police bc officer didn’t want to touch him bc he was gross & even tried to feed him chocolate….i wish everyone simply googled or social media searched rescues near me FIRST
That dog didn't do shit. Malnourished dogs that are super gentle taking food don't go running around biting people. That caller just hates it or scared of it
Maybe the caller wanted to be sure the cops would come for doggo?
Maybe the dog is sketchy sometimes. Pits are known to spazz out.
I think the callers dog was attacking this sweet old stray
@@FabioZanfir Whilst I ain't disagreeing, dude did straight up grab it by it's back flesh and stick it in the car and didn't seem bothered
@@FabioZanfirmost dogs are misidentified as pits firstly and pits aren’t known to just spaz out without reason
This poor dog is a victim of his appearance. He doesn't seem like he'd hurt a fly. Someone should give this little guy a chance. Hes not gross! Hes cute. :(
He is probably pretty gross after not getting proper care though. Cute and gross. Plus he's probably been rolling in stuff. Poor pup needed help. He's a victim of bad owners
Pit bulls were created by gamblers with the sole purpose of eliminating other dogs in pit fights and making money. Pit bulls were designed for that purpose and not to be pets.
The problem is that many pit bulls look like "they wouldn't hurt a fly", and then one day they snap and attack. CZcams has hundreds of videos of pit bull attacks.
@@Oona707He already bit someones dog, he will hurt a fly
Thank you!! It's not his fault he is in that situation, he is obviously trying to get someone to help him 😢
Dogs are not supposed to eat chocolate, and definitely not butterfingers 😂
D-Tier candy
Sorry but unless they find the owner and prove he has the rabies vaccine he will be put down. 😢
well they were just trying to lure him with what was on hand...certainly doesn't seem like they were doing it to be malicious. He didn't even eat it regardless.
@@potterhead338 That's a total falsehood. Dogs who bite, and this one actually didn't bite anyone, are put into quarantine for 2 weeks to watch for symptoms and then are evaluated for adoption. Don't spread lies.
Dogs have to eat like half their body weight in chocolate. And i think dark chocolate is worse for them but still needs a lot.
My little dog (maybe 10lbs) got into my girlfriends chocolate stash and ate a couple bars of chocolate she was fine had foil in her poo but didnt have diahrrea or throwing up she just wanted more chocolate lol
That dog isnt vicious whatsoever. Try feeding it, its STARVING. PATHETIC. NO COMPASSION.
That cop is hilarious!!! "Come on, I don't wanna touch u man, your GROSS" 🤣🤣
But then he probably man-handles sloppy drunks that pissed over themselves🤣💯🍻
this officer had an awful experience with a couple dogs last summer. i suspect that had a lot to do with it. i would be worried about picking up a strange nervous dog too. especially within the first couple minutes.
A daily thought for most police haha
The dog also didn't see the treat they brought and tossed on the seat. How this man has so little situational awareness to realize the dog didn't see the treat is beyond me.
Protect and serve huh???
Officer Ben showing how it's done, clearly this poor pupper is abused and fingers crossed he gets a new home!
Sadly its highly unlikely. Hes going to be just another one of hundreds or thousands of pitbulls in a shelter. They are full of them. Its very sad bc unless their owners have taught them otherwise, they're actually very affectionate and sweet, and protective of their families. I have a 100 lb pitbull and a 10 lb yorkie, and i can assure you that you should be more afraid of my yorkie. My pitbull is afraid of her!😂
@@emoliver80you know exactly which one is capable of taking you down if they wanted to. Don’t lie to yourself.
@emoliver80 my pitbull is a massive blue nose thats afraid of his own puppies, like I've legit never seen one intentionally bite somebody, it's almost always confusion on their end, or like in this scenario where he went to bite another dog and ended up getting somebody, now my boy *will* attack another dog but never a person, their great family dogs
Rabies test so nope.
@@PinkKitten002You should stop making useless dogs that nobody wants. Way too many people making these dogs. As the above comment mentioned way more pit bulls than willing homes. Make dogs people actually want instead.
good dog , its a shame people abuse them too
Poor baby is just skin and bones
this officer picked him up by his skin like a sack of rags, absolutely disgusting. animals don’t deserve to be treated like that.
"Did he just get up on his own? What a bastard." Had me laughing.
I bet this dog would become someones best friend if they got him healthy and showed him some love. He would be a faithful companion for the right person. No doubt about it. He'd spend the rest of his life showing how grateful he is for being treated well.
"Vicious Pit Bull" being a good boy all by himself, no leash and comes up wagging his tail looking for some love and food. Poor baby. I hope he gets a loving home.
Poor guy has probably never been invited into a car before?
He doesn't seem Vicious.
I would adopt this doggie in a minute.
They call about this dog being aggressive, but then at the end they want to be in contact with the dog and go up to the window, ect…makes zero sense…
They said the dog was being aggressive to another dog and they got bit trying to intervene.
This officer was attacked by two ACTUALLY vicious dogs recently yet here he is caring for this poor pup!! What a WONDERFUL person. Thank you Officer Ben!!
Seen more vicious women.

Poor doggo must have been so scared... Thank you for showing kindness and compassion.🐶💜
Sweetest Vicious dog I've ever seen. If anything, Someone was most likely teasing the dog to make him bite.
Awww, someone take that poor baby home and show him some love
Lmao. Doesn't give him a hotdog... because he may get sick... proceeds to entice him with mini Butterfingers
To be fair hot dogs make my dogs sick. But a butterfinger will also
It’s obvious the cop isn’t a dog person.
I know, I was aghast. People still don't know what NOT to feed dogs.
That cop should be in jail for animal abuse. Just as is usually the case, when the cops show up to help someone they become the biggest reason that people or animals are NOT okay.
@@TheGrindcorpslol...no. just, no.
Very vicious... I wonder how much they scared it by screaming and cornered it for it to bite.
That's what I was wondering, or they were hitting him. That dog seems extremely tame. Even being manhandled by a stranger (the officer) he didn't adversely react. They had to be seriously stressing him to get that reaction.
That dig didn't bite anyone or the caller's never offered to "give him a hot dog". They saw a pitbull, knew an easy way to get it removed. Now the dogs dead.
They said it was aggressive to another dog and they got bit trying to intervene
@@BrittanyStewart-ni4sc and I'm the next president. Claims don't do much.
Awwwww, poor old guy. He's harmless.❤
I am glad there is compassion from the officer for the dog.
That dog doesn't look vicious to me 🤷♀️
Facing your fears again, this is scary but also healing. You should be really so proud of yourself! 🥰 Keep a bag of dog treats or kibble in your bag of tricks in your trunk. You let him sniff it first, then throw the treat where ever you want the dog to go. You won’t regret it ♥️🐾
Also taking the seatbelt so its not blocking the opening might help as well!
Seemed like a chill dog. One thing a lot of people need to understand is that most dogs feed off people's actions, so if they're hyped up and yelling, the dog will most likely become more hyped up. So talking and acting calm around dogs is by far the best thing to do.
Very glad to see your interactions with dogs seem back to normal again! 🙂
Still better behaved and way more respectful than most people I see getting put into the back of cars!
Did you guys say no to a hot dog, but then tried to give the dog chocolate? 😂
For those that don't know, Chocolate in quantities is lethal to dogs..
I have adopted 3 of them from columbus Humane and one from Delaware humane.
Only bakers chocolate.
I'm not qualified to say what's dangerous for pets but my mom would bite Hershey kisses in half and give half to her Chihuahua. It live to 16. She also had a Boston terrier that she did the same with grapes. It lived into it's mid teens. All our dogs got table food with their dry food, and everything was seasoned with onions and garlic and they didn't have problems. Just saying. I personally wouldn't do it now if I had a dog, but do question it.
@@catwoman2596 I was told by osu veterinarian clinic that it's the cocoa not the chocolate, so milk chocolate isn't really chocolate, but something like a dark chocolate morsel would be.. since i'm not a baker, i just stick to the no chocolate rule..
That dog is sweet we need more people to adopt puppies, and dogs from the shelter. 😢❤
I guarantee that this poor neglected dog is probably 100% cleaner and caring than the majority of humans you guys deal with. I wish I wasn't in Australia at this moment so I could show you how to assist a starved dog to get into a vehicle, then feed, water him and wash him. Then give him copious amounts of TLC, then Repeat, repeat and repeat some more.
As far as peoples unfair judgement on pits it is just that unfair and unfounded. Any dog can and will become aggressive (dangerous) if treated like sh*t as this poor pup has quite obviously been. So I truly hope that you don't put this beautiful dog down because it still shows all these people a preparedness to trust even after all it has been through.
I said the same! Pits are babies unless you give them a reason. They are also grossly misidentified
Well said.
The statistics don't lie.
@@treytison1444when all dogs are labeled “pit bulls” the statistics doesn’t really work.
@@treytison1444wrong. Quite literally the definition of propaganda. Propoganda IS lies! Don't be a sheep.
Save this baby please!!!!!! They can be the best dogs when treated right😊
I live in columbus and would take him when he's healthy again!!
What happened to the dog, Ben?
Another uncooperative suspect! Did you charge him with resisting? 😅 Seriously, you were awesome with the dog and the bystanders. Hi, good buddy Jeff.
Just wash your hands afterwards simple
I’m so proud of our police here in Columbus, you handled that well. 👨✈️😘
People like you that care more about animals than humans are the problem you make me sick 🤢
I'm not a fan of pittbulls but this dog is the opposite of vicious. Almost any dog will bite when cornered if you want to see a vicious dog look up live stock guardian and what they do to anything that threatens the stock like Casper the live stock guardian dog. God bless and as always be safe officer Ben.
"I dont want to touch you man- your gross!!!"
😂🤣😂🤣💀💀❤️
This dog didn't attack anyone... Poor baby he needs help. Thank God this cop was calm and kind. 💙🐾🐾
Whoever called that a vicious dog is totally wrong. Scared, confused, and probably starving. Just needs some tlc. We as humans do not deserve dogs. They are so much better than us.
They say all Pitts are vicious I had one and he was a sweetheart. I hope they don't kill the dog.
Poor doggie 😢.He looks like he needs food water bath .I have a pitbull love the breed.I hope he finds his forever home.
My Pitt bull just turned 3 n she’s the absolute best sweetest girl ever!
That poor dog, not only was he neglected and malnourished, but he also has wounds all around his neck from a collar being too tight. :( I’m guessing the collar finally broke and he was able to get away. It’s amazing that he’s so well behaved despite all that.
I too noticed that and it broke my heart.
Years ago we had 2 pit bulls who escaped. A lady Police Sergeant brought them home in the back of her cruiser. The little dorks were clueless.😂 Pit bulls are only as dangerous as their owner. ❤
So t
So true! It’s how u raise them. My girl is a big baby
The dog didn't even try to run he's like you guys looking for me I'm over here alright you guys I guess I been a bad dog I'm going to jail at least there criminals will like me
Grow up
Dude you are such a kind man God bless you for real
Poor puppy ❤❤❤ I hope he gets a good home
It's heart warming to see your compassion extend to dogs as well as humans, especially after the bite. ❤
Thank you for being kind to the dog.
Maybe that dog has never been in a car..? Officer Ben...you are the most relaxed cop I ever seen, respect, and watch out for the real mean and vicious dogs cause this one wasn't.
There's no such thing as a bad dog, just bad people who make good dogs bad.
That poor dog didn't bite anyone purposely. It may be animal aggressive but, he didn't wilfully bite the person. I hope he ended up with a loving home that took care of him.
He is more than strong enough to get in the back of the car, but many dogs don’t think they are. My dog is like that, she often needs to be told she can do it before she believes me and jumps… 😂 ❤❤❤
I gotta tell my boy... huuuup! Then he'll jump right in. Same with stairs... and his big comfy spot. (An old oversized ottoman)
He was being a good boy
YOU SIR, are a credit to your profession! RESPECT! be safe brother!!
Pit Bull rescues exists.
That dog isn't vicious he's starved and beaten and doesn't trust anyone!! I pray he makes a full recovery. That Chihuahua sounds more vicious than him!
Such a beautiful dog and not vicious at all. Poor baby was so confused.
He's a good boy. There is nothing I hate more than people who are mean to animals.
Someone please save this dog from getting murdered by the shelter !!
Sweet doggie. I'd take care of him and love him. He's a sweetheart. Whoever owned this sweet dog needs reprimanded. Give him a chance.❤
The dog had obviously been through the system before, as evidenced by his reluctance to get in the back of the patrol vehicle.
Resisting arrest without violence is still resisting arrest. 🙂
I think he's too weak to get up in the car. Poor baby. So very sad. Glad the officer is being nice to him.
It would be easier to put him in the car if you stop yelling ”Stop resisting!” 😂
I hope the dog is doing good. Most pit bulls are big babies. Its how they are trained. You did a fantastic job with the dog, considering that you were bit before by one. Have a great day my friend, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️🚔💙.
I agree that training can help. My father had a pitbull that had puppies. He kept one of the puppies. He had her for around 10 years, the mother ended up getting aggressive around kids as she aged, even ones she was around daily like my sister. Ended up having to put her down. Her puppy we kept for 11 years, just had to put her down for the same reason, she was growling and her hair was standing up on her back, clear signs of aggression. Couldn’t risk her being around my 3 year old brother. Pitbulls are great dogs but they can randomly get aggressive especially as they age.
I forgot to mention, both of these dogs were very well trained ever since they were puppies. But once they got 10+ years old they started becoming aggressive towards kids and family friends.
@@Vivosityawwww.... poor pitbull. He just wanted to kill a baby
@@sandra-ok1hf awful thing so say from an awful person. i’m sure no tears will be shed at your funeral ♡
@@Vivosity dogs can get dementia just like hu,ans, it ois possible because dementia or similar aging conditions can change personality, temperament, demeanor. and dogs can get disoriented, not know where they are due to mental decline which causes fear and anxiety which can equal major behavioral and temperament changes.
He's such a sweet boy I hope he finds a good furever home he deserves 😊
Beautiful dog just running the streets. Hopefully adoption into a loving family is in his future.
With shelters being so full of animals everywhere, this is a prime example why every city that has a prison needs to have a prison dog program. Offenders are taught to train these pups which makes them highly adoptable, it takes the pressure off the kennels, rescues, etc. AND it teaches the prisoners to care about something other than themselves. The guys that have the opportunity to have a dog with them 24/7 won't dare screw up because they love the job and the companionship. The prisoners get a skill that they can use when they get out of prison too. It's a win/win/win for everyone... the prisoners, the kennels/rescues, and especially the dog.
Where’s the vicious 🐕?
I hope it didn't get put down this makes me sad
People will lie to get a dog picked up.
Sadly this adorably sweet dog will almost certainly be out down, because nobody will look at him and think anything differently than what the caller said. And you can see for yourself he's a wonderful dog. Unfortunately that's the way these things go. People are horrible. Even the officer advocated for him being put down. Adopt! Don't shop!

I’m working on some graphics today, but taking a little break … had to recharge my pencil {a phrase I never thought I’d be writing !} 🤣
I’m betting that the bitten lady’s dog was being aggressive, the two dogs got to fighting, and when she started kicking the pit bull, he snapped at her, just defending itself. I’ve never seen a pit bull who is aggressive suddenly become mild and meek when a cop approaches and leashes it just minutes later. It would be very odd.
This poor dog seems to be starving and confused. Now he will most likely be put down, because some mean woman got scratched. If I’d been an innocent person bitten by an unknown pit bull, I’d either go straight to urgent care, or wait for the cops.
This whole thing seems off.
Thank you for the video brother!!!
Much love from one officer to you
I bet if that dog did bite anyone, its probably because they were teasing it with food or backed it into a corner.

To the commenters saying he's so sweet and not a danger to other animals, saying there is no way he was attacking another dog.... I have a 115lb Wooly Malamute. She is a fluffy teddy bear and a big friendly love bug. BUT another dog runs up to her (friendly or not) she WILL attack it viciously. She is very dominant and protective and not dog friendly unless she knows the other dog. People always let their dog run up to her with me yelling NO because she "looks sweet"
I hate when people assume pitties are viewed as aggressive
